Rooms are a bit dated and could use some refurbishment

The location was easy to get too.

No heating, no breakfast, mattress old and worn, very soft, not comfortable

Friendly and helpful staff. Good basic food at reasonable prices.

Stayed on one of the coldest nights of the year. Requested extra duvets which was forthcoming.

Location

Room way outdated. All floor boards squeeked. The smell of cigarette smoke everywhere. The shower was a nightmare to turn on and off. Water not hot enough. Window difficult to close. The no heating in bathroom. The bed squeeked even when you sat on it. Was not allowed to book a table for dinner but found one reserved by someone else.

needs a serious upgrade. rooms were dirty and issues such as broken beds, broken shower trays etc

Bed was comfortable

Ensuite was incredibly small. Cigarette smell in room. Wine glass was dirty. First night was kept awake by music from party downstairs. Other Two nights were quiet.

The mens toilets very smelly. Seemed to be blockage.

Great location, walking distance to city.

Terrible smell of sewage from drainage system. Very bad in the toilet but also bad in the bedroom.
