Fantastic views over the sea, Kind people around

It was self catering. Cooking facilities, utensils etc, excellent.

Bathrooms would benefit if clothes hooks were installed. A mirror would be useful near a plug for hair drying.

Had a wonderful stay at Val’s Ocean View House. Location is fantastic on Doogort beach. The house is so comfortable with everything needed on hand. A great location for exploring Achill.

Beautiful cottage beside beach with amazing views of Achill. It was a pleasant experience.

The house was just perfect. It has everything you might need. Val gave us a very extensive introduction of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. The central heating ist working very good and makes the house warm and cosy. There is also an open fireplace. There is only one bedroom upstairs, but it is very spacious with three beds for up to 5 people plus another double bed on the ground floor.

Val was a lovely host, place was spotless on arrival with a comprehensive handover in person!

Location was beautiful, stock the car up before you get there! Achill was beautiful!!

The cottage was beautiful, very well laid out. It had everything we could have needed and was very clean.

A slightly bigger tv would've been nice.

This cosy little cotttage is in an excellent location, a one minute walk from the beach. really liked the location with the view of the silver strand and the mountain slievemor. The house itself is lovely as well, it's a well insulated house with central heating and an open fire, which I really loved. The host Val is a gentleman. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely be returning, thanks again

Great location, beautiful views, cosy place, beach beside house, fishing spots, great place to escape civilization .

Just keep in your mind, shops are bit away, so get your supplies on your way in, otherwise everything else is there, can't complain.

Location, no musty smells, nice fireplace, good kitchen with newer appliances. Good heat and water pressure, loved looking out at the sea and sheep. Really friendly and helpful host.

Could use a good cleaning. Cob webs, edges of floor, area on toliets filthy.

Its location to go around the Island is perfect, So quiet & peaceful, Plenty of things to see & beautiful restaurants & pubs to go and socialise

Didn't get to stay as long as we wanted too, Beautiful place to visit Cannot wait until next year & coming back again
