Das ViaVia war unsere erste Lodge nach der Ankunft in Uganda. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und es befindet sich in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Lage in Entebbe. Im Garten turnen die Affen und vom Frühstückstisch aus kann man die Fischadler beobachten. Das Restaurant bittet eine sehr leckere Auswahl an Gerichten zum Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner. Am Abend gab es in der Bar ein Livekonzert im tropischen Garten, unser Urlaub in Uganda hätte nicht besser starten können. Im näheren Umfeld gibt es einige Shopping Malls, die alles bieten , was für die Uganda Reise vor Ort noch benötigt wird - Sim-Karten, Lebensmittel etc.

Zum Abschluss unserer Reise haben wir nochmal im ViaVia übernachtet. Es ist einfach eine entspannte Lodge, die Lage ist super und wir wurden zum Abflug in wenigen Minuten zum Flughafen gefahren. Das Essen war gewohnt sehr gut und die Stimmung im tropischen Garten am Abend bei einem netten Drink aus der Bar ist einfach super. Beim Abschied ist klar, dass auch der nächste Uganda Besuch nur in der ViaVia Lodge beginnen und enden kann.

Delicious breakfast- that we were able to eat outside in the beautiful weather of Entebbe. We loved the fresh fruit and the banana pancakes. They always have fresh juice and coffee or tea, as well. Plus, monkeys provided entertainment for us. This was such a nice place after a long flight to Africa. What a comfortable retreat for rest- very near the airport. Staff provided pick-up at the airport and later drop off at the airport. Plus- they took us to Kampala and dropped us off there, as well. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

We felt like we wanted a lighter sheet type cover on the bed, since the weather was so hot. The duvet felt very hot.

Location was good, food choices were good and prices were reasonable

The food and accomodation was great.

They had no room service.

We loved the beautiful rooms. They are spacious and comfortable. The beds and bedsheets are soft. The room is of high quality. We also love the dining area - with the beautiful shrubbery and wildlife. The breakfast was delicious and wholly enjoyed by all.

We would have loved to have a complimentary bar of soap in our bathroom. We would have also appreciated a shower curtain or confined space to keep the water from spilling on the floor while bathing. We were also surprised to find that an additional payment was necessary for certain items on the breakfast menu - it seems that all options would have been included in the room fee.

A bit loud due to many young travellers who like to party a bit.
