Excellent location, converted shipping containers sited on working horse stud, located within easy reach of the many wineries in the area, hosts very friendly and chatty. Cottage was rustic in keeping with the rural setting, features a kitchenette, lounge and two beds, bed was very comfortable and the heat pump made the cottage very cosy, excellent WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

The path from the parking area to the cottage is a bit eroded and can get slippery.

This was a return stay to the property for us after a year or two and it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in the area. It is lovely and cosy and well-maintained. Exactly as the photos depict. There is also now very good wi-fi access at the property, making it easier to stay connected if you choose to!

Very comfortable stay, great setting and very good hostess and so friendly and adorable pets too.

Pathway to the unit was a bit hard for me to manage

We could bring our dogs, it was lovely and quiet and an easy drive to some lovely attractions such as treetops adventure park, wineries, beach, lavender farm etc. Alison was a fantastic host. We took our food and the kitchen was well equipped with a set of hotplates, pots, frying pan, glass ware, crockery and cutlery. The BBQ on the deck was handy too. The fireplace is out of action but the heat pump warms the place up nicely. One double bed and one queen. Perfect for what we needed.

The apartment was lovely and cozy, bed warm and comfy which was what we needed after a long day of hiking. It was lovely meeting Alison, definitely the best part about our stay. if I was to come back in the area, I’d definitely come here.

location wise, it is near some great wineries.

The accomodation is next to the residential property so I can’t say there is remoteness/privacy that I expected. There is no wifi which is fine but there is absolutely no phone reception. I found the bed sheets/blankets to be smelly and in need of a wash. I did not find the stay value for money.

We had a great time. Alison really went above and beyond for us to make it extra special. Would definitely recommend.
