Late check in after flight. Pademelon outside of our room. Large room, all we required in room and bathroom. Good set up.

Extra cost for breakfast. Loud banging of doors, not very sound proof rooms. Could hear other guests.

Clean, comfortable, things to do.

Clean room. Swimming pool and spa were nice and warm and open till 10pm. Beautiful location and architecture.

The minute I opened the room door, it smelled like cigar. When I told the reception, they asked me open the window. But I asked for change of room, as we don't smoke. They have provided another room with a disclaimer that, that was the last available room!!!! Women's sauna smelled very bad at night. We displayed the 'clean room please ' tag but the room was not cleaned as someone reversed the sign to ' do not disturb' . We had to ask for fresh towels and toiletries when we came back to room at 10pm. They did not provide anything until 10.45pm and we had to go to the reception to pick things up! The reception offerd vouchers for alcohol, but we don't drink, so nothing. No help available to Carry luggages out through the massive property in the morning during check out and we had to do it by ourselves with a running toddler. I was told two times, 'I'm the only one at the reception, can you please come and pick up'. Seriously!! Definitely not worth the money. I couldn't believe that it's under same company as Westpoint but not good at management and staffing. Not very friendly staffs either.

I like that everything was in the one place.

Always friendly staff, clean and value for money. Range of facilities for everyone to enjoy.

The rooms are starting to look a bit old, constant patch up jobs are becoming too noticeable. Unfortunately I think the buffet breakfast is the worst we've had in Tasmania. We were also a bit disappointed that the scallops on the dinner buffet were not real scallops, a big disappointment when dining with a professional fisherman, considering the local season had just opened.

Reception staff were very good and friendly. Room was clean, interesting, golf view is actually a view of construction at the moment. Coffee and tea are not refilled on second day so maybe bring your own if you like to make an early drink before leaving your room. The best meal we had was Water Garden Cafe, toasted sandwiches and good hot coffee, very pleasant staff, Danny and I am sorry, cannot remember the lady that also served us, great job thanks so much.

We had been out for lunch so thought that we would just grab a light meal at Water Garden Bistro on Friday night, bad move, would not eat there again, had meal voucher but did not seem to work, so I did not worry about it as it was very busy. Salt and Pepper Squid was reasonable, slightly overcooked and only warm. Rissoles with vegetables, 3 cold balls with cold gravy, pumpkin that had dirty skin on and uncleaned carrots, deep fried with no consistent shape and I wondered if they were left over off lots of different meals, the peas were not edible not sure where they came, hard wrinkled green balls? No mash as advertised on menu, so went back and had a blob of mash sploshed onto the plate, this was the best part of the meal, at least it was warm. Go across and eat in Cafe, they cook toasted sandwiches as ordered and really pleasant service, staff there seemed to care how meal looked. Thank you.

travelled with a 7 month old, was quite hard to heat food or bottles. ideally a microwave would have been exceptional but overall excellent experience.

most comfortable bed i have had in a hotel. large room heaps of space.

bar fridge reasonably full hard to put any drinks in.

wait staff not professional in my opinion. I booked in advance and asked for two rooms to be next or near to each other. we ended up I. different floors!

We liked the Club facilities. Club main Foyer and outside fountains are beautiful. Check out 11am is good.

Shower/ water was weak.

The bed had a lump in the middle

I’ve always liked the Country Club for its location and lovely ambience and previously rooms have been excellent - light and spacious and welcoming.

Just felt that rooms were a little tired and ‘dark’ and not very spacious - not what we’ve been used to on previous occasions, even though prices were far dearer than other times we’ve stayed there. Also, we were travelling with another couple from Victoria celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary which I mentioned to the Terrace Restaurant when I booked and they said they would do something special. However that didn’t happen and there was no mention from them so that was rather disappointing. Also felt that the restaurant experience was not as good as it used to be. Just lacked something.
