Large room, comfy bed, very nice staff, health spa facilities, convenient location.

The location is spot on and city centre easy parking. We had a main meal and breakfast and they were nice. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly.

The ‘spa’ and pool area are very tired. The pool was freezing. We had no robes or slippers in our room, so the easiness of visiting the pool was marred. We asked but were told there wasn’t any, then other guests attended with hotel Terry towering robes on, It was just like visiting a council run pool and we needed to get dressed and undressed from our room. The spa towels have seen better days. The showers are grim, cracked tiles and again I must mention it was very cold. The purpose of the stay was leisure but unfortunately the pool lets the hotel down.

Staff was incompetent. Didn’t even know what hand soap was. Cleaning staff entered room against wishes but didn’t actually resupply or clean anything.

We lost one wooden card at room card slot for week, no further information being provided.

Impressive reception area, lovely bar and restaurant. Rooms were standard for our needs. Ice machine on each floor nice touch. Breakfast was very good.

The rooms were lovely & clean. All public areas were beautifully furnished & decorated. The restaurant area was really nice. The terrace was an added bonus. We didn't get chance to use the pool or gym sadly.

We ate in the restaurant, and despite there only being our group of 4 and one other person in the restaurant - they only had 2 steaks left, when 3 of us wanted it. The 2 that had the steak said it was really nice though. Slightly overpriced food I'd say.

The bath had an black enamel stain which we informed the receptionist twice and was promised a change of room which did not happen. The room was not cleaned so no fresh towels or replacement refreshments

No boiled egg option at breakfast otherwise excellent shower to slow,not much water pressure, and very small If you are a larger person it' would be a squeeze to get showered Uncomfortable bed but that may be just me not sleeping in my own bed

The shower had lukewarm water and the pressure was too low. It seriously needs an upgrade.

The sofa bed was not comfortable at all and the sheets were not clean. The bathroom was not particularly clean and the shower was awful

Fantastic facilities and very friendly staff. There was a bit of a queue when we arrived so as an apology for the wait the staff let us have free parking for the duration of the stay

When I booked a room, the photos showed up the bathtub photo, but when I entered the room, it was only a shower. I called to reception. They called me back and changed the room for me with bathtub. I was so appreciated Aslo, the location of the hotel is the best. Next, I requested for extra towel, Housekeeping staff acted very fast and efficient. Moreover, the hotel facilities with sauna, steam room, swimming pool and gym room. We enjoyed our great time there. As a family trip, we used to book in Airb & b because of my big kids. Now my whole family can accommodate in a room with two queen sizes beds, very wide range of breakfast. It was delicious. I am really looking forward to my next family trip with Crown plaza hotel again. It was one of my best hotel stay.

Very nice hotel, good room standard

I asked for a VAT invoice when checking out and was told that I could get one from Booking.com. Booking.com says the hotel needs to provide one. I contacted the hotel but, as of yet, have had no response. It was really a shame because before check-in they were very responsive to messages.
