Unbeatable location. Glamorous room, balcony over a canal complete with gondolas. Massive tasty breakfast.

Help with the bags up to our room, but then again didn't ask.

Staff is friendly. Location is perfect! Within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, the Rialto bridge, Grand canal, and many other things. The room was clean and well maintained.

There are zero elevators in this hotel. Be prepared to walk up many flights of stairs to your room with your luggage. Also, we were under the impression that breakfast was included when it wasn't. We felt it was a bit overpriced, but still a nice place to stay.

Excellent hotel, the best breakfast I had in Europe ever, and value for money. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. the breakfast service was amazing and at night the restaurant was buzzing with Venetian vibes and the food was amazing Would love to stay there again the location is awesome and it puts you in the heart of Venice walking distance to all major attractions the gondolas outside the window made it super cool

The location was super good. The room has a comfortable beef, hair drier, towels, and it is clean. It was not a luxurious stay but we have no complaints.

The building is very old, and it shows. Some pieces of furniture look pretty worn. There is no water boiler in the room, nor water. In spite of that, everything works fine and the room is comfortable, maybe just a bit too small.

The room was very small for 5 people. one of the receptionist was very rude.

The location of Al Gazzettino was unmatched. We were close to everything (it was a bit of distance from the train station, but that was easily solved with the water taxi). Aside from that, we were in easy walking distance from all that Venice has to offer. From our room's window, we could watch the gondolas going by (it was magical!). There were wonderful restaurants everywhere. But one of the best parts of our stay was the breakfast!! Oh my goodness - it was amazing. We were provided everything you could dream of. We still talk about it. Grazie!!

The breakfast was nice, but not spectacular.

I knew the room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. Nothing to say. But the room overlooked walls only. Yes it was a quiet street. The bathroom has nothing to do with the wonderful photo shown on Booking.com. The toilet next to the shower, the hand basin, the bidet without use, as well as the towels of no quality, the face towels were tea towels. I do not recommend the room on the 4th floor at all.

Great staff, helpful and accommodating. Room was lovely - just like the pictures. Good coffee too.

Not a negative, but guests should note this is not a hotel with any amenities to speak of - check the details on the website. There is no bar. The restaurant is borrowed for breakfast only. There is no gym or any other facilities and the reception area is tiny.
