Its a great location considering the Munshi Ghar is just 100m from the hotel. Gopal Ji was very kind and also managed to arrange for food at 11 PM in the night. The rooftop restaurant has good staff and good food. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Hot water was available 24/7.

No windows from my room so no natural light. Room is pretty tight with just a bed and a table. Shower did not work well. Rooms are quite closeby so if you have noisy neighbours that could be a spoiler.

A very warm and hospitable hosts with a rooftop restaurant run by Indo-French couple makes it a descent place to stay and eat a real continental delicious food right at your home in Varanasi!

They are very welcoming and not far from the ghats. Room are simple but more than enough

It was a really very good experience over here. Location is superb just behind the main Banaras ghat where Maa Ganga Aarti happens. You may get a great view from here. Main Mahadev Kashi ji temple is just at walking distance. Thanks to the staff for very nice behaviour.

The hotel is not accessible via any vehicles and one needs to walk for around 10 mins to reach.

Ganga in Walking distance

The location was amazing and good to hang around the market and Ghats. Staff is really good with nature and humble with visitor guests too. They are always ready to get things sorted whether if you want them to book your travel tickets, whether you came late in night they opens the door with their kind humbleness. Property is very clean as per the covid guidelines. The rooftop view is exceptional as you can see the Ganges & monkey’s around the roof’s. Safe and best .

Restaurant I wish it could’ve opened

The owner was very approachable and helpful. He arranged for a taxi to pick me up from the airport (I’m traveling solo and landed in varanasi around 11pm) and then back again at the end of my stay. The room was good, the bed was comfortable and clean bathroom with hot water too. The location was very convenient for getting around and the famous adha-adha resto is a credit of this guest house :) The staff, mr. manu is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding the ghats and places to visit in Varanasi, he also arrange for my morning boat tour with affordable prices. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend a stay at this guest house. Ps: the owner’s wife is very sweet, she even give me a traditional banaras scraft as a souvenir, thank you so much ;)

Very nice and clean rooms, excellent and helpful staff. Perfect position on Munshi ghat, you have everything at a few steps. I really suggest The restaurant in the rooftop, it has been our home for 8 days. Tajik and staff guys are wonderful people. I already miss them all. Thanks so much to everyone Namastè 🙏🏽
