Best accomodation during our 4 weeks in Costa Rica. The garden is very beautiful and the location next to the river is amazing. We don‘t really recommend it without a car, but if you are ok taking cabs on bumpy roads than it is not a problem. Our appartement with the small pool in front was just absolutely perfect. Both Uvita and Playa Hermosa are close and good for surfing. Also Dominical is not far. If we come back to Costa Rica we will definitely book again.

The place is amazing, the garden and pool are really awesome, and there is a small river next to the property that you can hike for small and private waterfalls at the end ! And the casita is perfect, very nice view and the facilities are really nice ! And both the owners and managers of the place were very friendly and responsive to our needs ! 11/10 !!

beautiful. the gardens on the river were a hidden treasure in the mountains. the howler monkeys calling to each other at sunrise was haunting and wonderful. family of Toucans had a nest directly across the small river. saw them in the evenings. if you are a STRONG hiker, do the walk up the hill, following all the way to Uvita and then to the beach (9mi round trip - couple hours)

all good, but recommend a 4WD for the steep road

This is the perfect place to feel like you have a getaway off the beaten path. It is 1 km from a supermarket and good restaurants as well as being close to beaches and Ballena National Park. THe grounds are spectacular and the pool area is amazing. They really did a great job with the landscaping making it feel like an oasis. The AC works great, the kitchen was fully equipped. This lodging exceeded my expectations and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Steven & Rachel have the loveliest place in Uvita. Cozy garden and pool area that looks even nicer than in pics, the river with the waterfall, tips and useful descriptions on the surroundings...Above expectations.

Beautiful casita surrounded by nature. Saw so many birds, including toucans, whilst sat on our veranda. The hosts Steve and Rachel were great, the fresh coconut water upon arrival was very welcome! All very clean and well kept. Supermarket a close drive away. Also walking distance from a beautiful waterfall which we had completely to ourselves!

Nothing we didn’t live. It is positioned up a steep unpaved road, so a car is needed. A 4x4 would be best but ours wasn’t and we were still fine.
