Upper level room is just behind the reception and there is no view in any room. For people travelling in SUVs, entering that lane is a big no because of the crowd. The only plus point about the hotel is the location. Apart from that, my stay wasn't great.

Palace on ganges is a great experience and one I would recommend to anyone. Great rooms, food and service. I'll go there again if I'm in this neck of the woods.

A meal was put on my bill that we hadn't had. Just a mistake I'm sure but that's the only negative I can come up with.

the owner tried to make tricks about the reservations - my friedns has a booked rooms, only me not...When he nderstand this, he lock the booking profile and asked me for double price. Then , I said: I want to book with my card from booking, because I want to win points etc, then he enlocked the reservation system, but he increased the price a lot...So I booked the first day with booking, and the second with agoda for better price...Not nice person, gipsy tricks...

A/C was not working well, breakfast is very poor, reception people gave us wrong information about the time of aarti, we paid for transfer to airport, car was 30 minutes late, seems reception person forgot to arrange it. Too high price for this quality of service.

we had booked 3 rooms, 2 first and then a third room, two rooms were fine but one room, named goa had poor beds, we had booked an extra bed which was just a mattress on the floor staff friendly although their price didnt match with the price on booking.com, so worth checking before paying, the difference was 4000 rupees they agreed and didnt charge the higher amount when I pointed this to them bathrooms basic but adeqaute clean towels could be better

Almost everything. We got a room without any view. Looking into a wall. But we were very happy about that because it was very quiet. I don't know if you can sleep at all in the rooms with a view. The hotel is situated very near The Ganga But in a heavily trafficked road and it is too a gathering point for the auto rickshaw If you like this it 's a topnotch hotel. We would stay there again if coming back to Varanasi.

The food in the Top Roof restaurant And the breakfast could improve. The breakfast room were stocked in a small room downstairs Hot and stinking food.

Location is the only thing that is making this property sell.

Staff behaviour and facilities. Had to go to reception at night three times, just to ask for a simple bottle of water with no luck. eventually had to go out to a shop to get some. The charges are as high as some of the 4 stars but the simple facilities like TV was not working and the staff was least bothered. They are on a very good location and that is the only thing they are banking on.

Impolite staff - I paid for break fast and then too the butler said you don’t have breakfast on your room. Eventually i was hungry. - You will have to pay for parking - Description says river view but hardly there are any rooms with a view. - No network and wifi keeps working like 2010
