The location is simply excellent. Right on the beach and near the main street. Could not be better. Breakfast was really good and we stayed in the bungalows facing the garden. Really nice place and super staff in the restaurant.

We had challenges in booking 3 people (2 adults and a child) into the bungalow on the booking.com website. This option was not possible. This needs to be possible on the website as there is space in each bungalow with a double bed and a fold out bed.

Great location directly at the beachfront with a stunning pool and private beach! The breakfast is freshly made and very delicious with a wide range of Continental and Asian food. The room is very spacious and clean. The staff is helpful in organizing a motorcycle if needed. Various restaurants/bars/markets within 5 Min walk.

The bathroom could have been more sophisticated, since there was just a curtain separating the bathroom. Staff was helpful but with limited English capacities, hence ordering took a little longer.

The bungalows were 3rd rate and uncomfortable, like converted Saunas. I was in the travel business for 30 years and have never found such overrated sleeping accommodation . Value at one or two stars for rough sleepers. The friendly staff could do with a better place to work in.

We loved the food, breakfast was great and we ate and drank at the hotel every day. We loved our room and really enjoyed how peaceful the location was. You can literally walk up the beach to other bars/restaurants which was a great experience. My kids loved the resort and they had fun beach toys for my little one along with paddleboarding for my eldest. You can also rent jet skis right in front of the hotel. We walked into the main town which was super easy. Supermarkets are also all around. The best! We will most certainly stay here again if we come back to Phu Quoc!

Location, pool, breakfast are all awesome. Totally recommend this place from our weeks stay here. Also bike hire for $5 a day allowed us to explore the entire island. Grab is available on the island and is cheaper than the hotel’s airport pick up.

Vida Loca Resort is a really nice resort, as it has a fantastic pool surrounded by palm trees, great breakfast room with beautiful view over the sea. We stayed for three nights and wished we could stay longer. The last two nights we slept in the main building, which is nice and airy, high ceilings, nice views if you are able to reserve a room on higher floor. The first night we stayed in one of the bungalows, which are small but cozy. BUT as the resort is close to a club, please be aware that it can be very noisy until 23 h or later. We complained at the hotel manager who found straight away a good solution by offering us a room in the main building. Staff is helpful and you feel welcome in this resort. There is a great massage place right on the beach next to the resort. As well couple nice and affordable restaurants / cafes next to the resort.

The breakfast was good, lots of options. Location beautiful, right on the water. The staff was really nice - there was construction happening the first morning (7:30am) and I said something to the night staff and she was super understanding and said she would mention my complaint to the manager, didn't hear anything after that. Bungalow was cleaned every day and bed comfy.

For the cost of the stay I did expect the actual bungalow to be nicer. The space was very small and dark unless you didn't mind the main front door blinds to be open to the main courtyard area where people walk to/from the beach. Also there were critters in the room, found gecko poop on the pillows 2x and we noticed there are holes where wires come in...easy ways in. I've stayed at a few locations in Phu Quoc (Lahana and Cassia Cottage) over the years and this was the smallest/most simple style but the most expensive. Maybe it is the time of year and holiday markup but $828 USD for 4 nights stay is wild in comparison to what you can get at other places for less. Also you are next to Zen beach club which plays music until 1-2am and the Vida Loca restaurant also blasted music on the front deck during a sunset happy hour when it was just myself and another couple there. All of us out there were not into the random loud tehcno so I asked them to turn it down a bit and they did until I stepped away for a few minutes and they turned it back up 😅.

Nice beach and infinity pool. Also a good breakfast with different options. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

There are not many chairs on the beach so most of the time all of them are occupied.

Staff doesn't speak English good ,it was very difficult to comunicate with them.they also forgot my order in the restaurant twice.when i reminded them the answer was :chef forgot ,wait 10 min

The room was really nice and comfortable with good bathroom and nice beds. Nice and beautiful swimmingpool. The resort is located directly at the beach, with nice beach beds as well. There is a breakfast buffet with both western and local food.

The breakfast buffet could sometimes be refilled sooner.

1. No food available after 1.30 pm...so you have to step out for food and that becomes a problem if you are travelling with kids 2. Resort has many steps and no staff to help with luggage. So you have to carry all your luggage yourself up and down the many steps 3. Resort is in a narrow lane which got water clogged when it rained, so we had to walk through ankle deep water to get dinner

The beach is nice and relatively clean. Pool too. Bungalow was spacious. The staff was very helpful.

Resort located on the beach, can see amazing sunset view. The room is nice and clean. Buffet breakfast is pretty good, better than my expectation. Most of staff are nice and friendly. Only the lady works as chef in breakfast restaurant always makes me feel like not welcome there, she show up serious face to any guests and never smile, that’s one of necessary thing for person working in hospitality. Overall recommend this place.

Room was very tiny, bed put against a wall, no wardrobe. Restaurant closed at 2pm, no service in the afternoon or at night.

Beach front, great rooms, clean. Good spread for breakfast. Walking distance to beach bar but also restaurants on the main road.
