The staff, the bar and restaurant, the location

The walls between rooms were a bit thin.

Lovely management and staff, lovely Bar and Restaurant offering a fantastic Dinner and Breakfast. Breakfast was fab. Probably the best breakfast I have tasted anywhere and the coffee was delicious too. I did not have lunch. Nice clean modern rooms. Centrally located. Nice peaceful room on a Tuesday night. Thank you

The only criticism I have is that Room 2 was incredibly cold despite having a radiator. There was very little heat coming from the radiator despite it being turned up to the maximum setting and the room was still extremely cold which made it uncomfortable temperature wise. An additional heater would be advisable to be installed in the room. An electric blow out heater or oil/water filled plug-in radiator would be a bonus. The restaurant in the evening was a little bit chilli too. Granted the weather conditions outside was pretty cold too but a-bit more of some nice heat would have made it cozy. I am sure if I addressed it then it would have been rectified but the establishment closed early on that particular Tuesday night so there was no one to ask for additional heating. Also the heating did not come on early in the morning either so was pretty cold getting ready, hence why I selected that the price did not match my expectations when I booked because I like a well heated room especially on a cold night. I cannot fault anything else about establishment as the bar, restaurant, food, drink are of good quality and the owners/management/staff were very accommodating and I would recommend the place to stay and dine. No problem with heat at breakfast. Thank you.

The breakfastt was fine and the location was good for our stay.

We were booked in on a Monday to go racing. We received a call on Monday morning to say the place was closed and our key was over a menu board outside the pub. This is not great from a security point of view. We had booked a double room and the bed was very small and low to the ground. People came in late and there was a bit of noise.
