Location was good. Room was basic. Good for a couple nights. Had a private room.

Community aspects
Location was a big challenge. I visited the golden temple in the night and was coming back post the ceremony at 3.00AM Since the stay is at private colony the gates were shut in the night. I did wait for around 40 minutes outside but there was no one to open the gate. Did contact gostops customer support but they said they can't do anything about it, despite the stay manager said it would be 24/7. That was one bad experience I had.

The place very clean, rooms ,bed linen and washrooms also very clean. Comfortable beds both in rooms and dormitory.
Unfortunately, the phone on the website it’s not updated. I didn’t have internet on my phone when I got to Amritsar, so the only possiblity was calling. The rickshaw guy got lost around 40 minutes finally someone knew the hostel that’s when we finally got there. But the incident would have been avoided if we had and updated phone to call. I really hope they have already taken care of this. Other than that, everything excellent!

The hostel is very comfortable, clean and homy. The staff is very kind and helpful. The day we left they let us keep the bags for the whole day there and also let us hang in the common area for unlimited time. When we left they also helped us catching a tuktuk, since it was late night.

The staff are so friendly and helpful! I was a girl travelling alone and they were very considerate. The rates are very reasonable and the stay is very clean and safe for the money. It's very close to the temple complex. Would definitely stay again. :)
