ideal for our needs. very clean spacious and well equipped. minor problem on arrival which was fixed within 10 minutes of phoning. Offstreet parking and wifi. Lovely outdoor area and right on edge of town with plenty to explore round about. would highly recommend and use again if back in area.

A nice modern house in a quiet area about 7 minutes walk to Oakham High St. Good road instructions and communications.

May have missed the fact that it is 3 storey and two flights of stairs. Tap in bathroom basin very loose and flooded floor. A lighter weight duvet would have been welcome and at our age we still make our tea in a teapot but did not find one. Made it in the gravy boat! Key safe too high to see the code or operate comfortably. Name of Rutland View so expected to see the famous Water. Nevertheless, pleasant views of some fields over the play area. A street map in the property would be helpful. The partial map sent in advance showed a Barnsdale Restaurant nearby but obviously a Google error. We have holiday lets of our own so appreciate the various challenges.

Well equipped, clean, room for 2 cars on the drive, good sized rooms, nice showers with enough hour water for all, fast wi-fi and big Internet-ready TV, location great Rutland Water was great

Not much to complain about at all. Probably the only slight niggle was the early 10am checkout which I understand is COVID-related (longer turnarounds).

Everything you need for a weekend away. lovely and clean.

There wasn’t an iron, however messaged the owner and one was dropped off straight away. Great service 😊

The house was clean and had plenty of space for the amount of people. The short walk to the beautiful town centre was amazing 😍

we could of done with an extra key as we found the drop box a bit fiddly to operate. washing machine would of been a bonus

Well located near a park and grocery stores. 10 minute walk into the centre of Oakham. The two bedrooms with double beds were separated by the living floor so provided privacy (we didn't use the other two top floor bedrooms).

No washer/dryer; no oven mitts (removed as a covid precaution but hard to take anything out of the oven without them).

Location was excellent for Rutland Water and plenty of places in Oakham to eat.

The code for the key safe didn’t get to me, fortunately the owner lived nearby. There were not enough bin bags provided and the wheelie bin smelt awful. I had to clean the outside table and chairs on arrival.

Excellent location. Large bathrooms.

Few long dark hairs on bedding and bathroom floors. No iron. Usually, this wouldn't have been a problem because I rarely iron but we were attending a wedding so the iron was vital. I didn't check the amenity list because I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have one before. Luckily the fantastic local dry cleaner John Porter saved our ironing emergency. We thought that 10am check out when on holiday is a little harsh.

Our third time staying here, and we always have a comfortable, enjoyable visit. One of our favourite places. Very clean and in great condition.
