The location of the hotel was amazing, it was in a great area and we were able to walk and taxi everywhere. It was also right on a private beachfront which was amazing. The service and staff were exceptional. They were all very helpful and kind. Checking in and out was very easy. The room was great! Air conditioned, comfy and very clean. Lots of space and was a nice comfortable space. Pool was nice and the gym was really good too. I loved the breakfast. Drinks by the pool and on the private pier was very cool. Would recommend this place to anyone and would stay there again.

Very clean, staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Communication was perfect. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and attention from staff.

Alles, we kunnen zo niets bedenken wat beter kon. Om te beginnen is het personeel heel erg goed, er ontbreekt niets aan service en vriendelijkheid! En de ligging van het hotel, de faciliteiten, het restaurant, het zwembad, de kamer - alles was helemaal in orde. Zwemmen in de zee is niet echt optie, daarvoor is het eigenlijk te ondiep maar dat was voor ons geen issue. De massage in de spa is ook echt een aanrader. Verder hebben we drie excursies via het hotel geboekt, ook allemaal de moeite waard. Kortom: we hebben een heerlijke week vakantie gehad in dit hotel.

Plastikowy pomost na wodzie był w bardzo złym stanie i psuł widok na morze. Lepiej gdyby go nie było. Klimatyzacja pracuje zbyt głośno.

The hotel is really charming - not brand new but very well maintained. Our room was exceptional. Particularly loved the living room area and the outdoor shower. Very spacious and spotless. Excellent breakfast as well, with lots of options. Everyone from the staff was amazing. Overall, highly recommended.

Not that it’s the hotel’s fault but the Ocean Pier was not open. We were actually looking forward to enjoying some cocktails there but due to some stronger waves the days before, the pier was not in place.

Feels like a hidden gem… exceptional staff - friendly, warm and very very welcoming! They even remember your name from day 1 throughout the stay - fantastic hospitality!! The GM is present and approachable in the best way - shares ideas for excursions and insights about Ko Samui. The facility feels overall almost like a mystic temple with a lot of warmth and never crowded. Very very good breakfast and high level spa area. Easy access to the bay and Lamai beach - enjoyed long walks at the beach. Overall, highly recommended!!

Here and there, you see the age of the facility - some brush up may help to bring back the full shine. The bed was unfortunately not the best… somehow my back did not like the mattress…

Staff go above and beyond. Most friendliest and helpful staff I’ve come across. Facilities impeccable, clean and exactly like the photos.

Pricey compared to other accomodations but you pay for what you get and it’s worth every cent! Would come back again!

This was one of the nicest hotels, the staff has made every moment excellent. The food was great and we stayed in the restaurants for several meals beyond breakfast. The pool is fantastic and right on the cleanest beach of the island. Excellent stay, I would definitely come back here on another trip.

Nothing to complain about. The hotel infrastructure is not new or modern, but it's extremely clean and well maintained. It was an excellent stay.

The communal areas of the hotel are very nice. The pool area and the restaurant are beautiful. The private pier is also great, with happy hour service in the evenings. The beach area is nice too. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. Everyone smiles, they are fantastic. Everything is very clean and the rooms are extremely clean. The hotel is an island of tranquillity, it's recharging to be there. The massage service is super. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are impeccable. The hotel kitchen is great. Superb cleanliness and very comfortable rooms. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our son’s bag was lost at the airport & the staff here at The Lamai went above and beyond with phone calls in Thai to the airline involved and made sure we were updated. They even gave us the room for another night to await the delivery of the luggage, then brought it to our room with smiles. Overall a really lovely stay and we can highly recommend and will return. Thank you to each and every member of staff.

Excellent location and stunning decor. Staff were very welcoming and took great lengths to make our honeymoon enjoyable.

Food and massage prices were overly expensive for Thailand, nearly 3-5x the charge of restaurants and spas down the street.

Nice entry, well-maintained garden, friendly staff, pool villa beautiful.

Millions of mosquitos! Killed 23 in the room. As there were many slits in the windows, mosquitos entered although we closed the doors and windows! Towels were dirty. Breakfast buffet was not a 5 star buffet. Maxium 3 stars! Totally over-prized! We were lucky that we only slept 1 night there and could move on to a real 5 star hotel!

La posizione era molto buona, isolata e tranquilla, ma allo stesso tempo vicino al centro di Lamai e ai suoi punti di interesse. Personale super cordiale e disponibile! Appena arrivati ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio e ci hanno aiutato più volte ogni volta che avevamo un problema (noleggio scooter, problemi col volo ecc.). Anche il ristorante dell'hotel era buono e con prezzi non esagerati. Il bar sul molo nel mare era bellissimo e creava un'atmosfera di relax e pace indescrivibile!

Peccato che non vi erano sdraio sulla spiaggia privata davanti all'hotel, anche se comunque le sdraio della piscina erano a neanche 20 metri dalla spiaggia. Il resort era infestato dalle zanzare, specialmente nel bagno era pieno, ma immagino si possa fare poco per questo.

Loved how beautiful and quaint the property is. The staff are friendly and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. It felt like home away from home with a beautiful view of the ocean to look out to whenever one wanted :) i will always treasure our vacation and memories at Lamia
