Loved the space in this beautiful warm Lockwood home and the spa was a bonus. Thankyou for having us 😁

we couldn’t get the hot tub to work, following the instructions provided. out door furniture was minimal, not what was shown in the photos ( only 2 chairs and one small table). even for a Lockwood the house settling was loud, no sneaking to the loo in the night.

No keys for the window locks. Couldnt open some and couldnt close some.

Beds are comfortable, location is good. It was clean. Furniture is comfortable enough.

Hot water was tepid, had to go outside and turn on the thermal spa to run the heat exchanger and heat the house water to have a decent shower. The spa itself took over 2 hours to fill up, so if you were out for the day and thought a spa would be good when you got back...think again, it would be ready after dinner. TV did not work properly, we were told to go buy some batteries for the remote. Internet had some sort of net nanny program that affected some (not all) ordinary websites. The house is an old Lockwood that makes a lot of noise expanding and contracting and when anyone moves about upstairs. This place is very much a Bach from another Era and most things have not been updated since it was built. We paid 400 a night for 4 people, it is expensive for what it was, the hot water issue was not acceptable in our opinion. Check out is 10 am or its $60 extra.
