Fantastic location and staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean. Also quiet considering we’re in London
It’s a bit hard to navigate round the property. Shower water temp wasn’t hot enough for my liking. Also paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Not a biggie, as it doesn’t affect the comfort of your stay. And rubbish bin would be nice
4.2
It’s a very charming place. Small but beautiful rooms.
Nothing in particular.

Location was very good near Oxford street and walkable
to Hyde park
Clean rooms
Helpful staff
Ambiance was nice
London feel of a building

Small rooms unfortunately we booked them knowing that they were small but did not expect to be that small we couldn’t place our luggage
It’s a business hotel so a 2-3 nights stay is max

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Home Grown, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of London, this boutique hotel offers a unique blend of luxury, comfort, and exclusivity that sets it apart from other accommodations in the city.
However, my main issue was with the room assignment. We were accommodated in an accessible (disabled) room, which was not what we had booked. While I appreciate the hotel’s efforts to be inclusive, the room was not ideal for us. The toilet and bathroom setup were designed for accessibility, which is great for those who need it but was less comfortable for us. The facilities were functional but not as convenient or comfortable as a standard room would have been.

Location
I paid for 2 adults and a child to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. I come home to find I’d been charged £60 for a restaurant fee that I hadn’t even been in and a bed to be put in the room. I paid for 2adults and 1 child and no where did see in any terms that I needed to pay for an extra bed to be set up. We were celebrating my mums 60th birthday, had a great day in London at the theatre and then to the ritz. Come home to kick our shoes of to find the only Chanel suitable for my 13 year old daughter to watch was itvbe because the rest was “adult explicit entertainment”
Now I’m a travel agent and I know how to book things and I know when staff are taking the piss. The owner assured me I’d be refunded my £60 and 2 weeks later I’m still waiting. So if your looking for a good location in London and porn of an evening then this is the hotel for you, if like me you’ve got your 60 year old mother and 13 year old daughter in toe don’t book it.

Clean tidy place. Good value for money considering it was in the centre of London. The food was great and fresh. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing.
Coffee and water were provided but unsure if the snacks were part of that.
There are only a few issues. The building had no sign out front, so it was hard to find. Someone even asked me outside the building if that was the place.
There was also confusion about receiving another receipt for separate expenses upon checking out, even though I had pre-paid for my room.
My main issue was that I felt like I did not belong there. The staff looked at me as if I had the audacity to book a room there. The kind of look that said, "Are you sure you are in the right place?".
Admittedly I think there was only one member that was the exception. It was a shame that was when I was checking out.

Very central location, nice hotel and amazing breakfast, very friendly staff.

Brilliant location, breakfast staff were lovely
Very vague answers about the mini bar and what was included in our stay. No prices available and very unclear what was complimentary and what was chargeable.
At breakfast, only certain items were included. I was given a piece of fruit, only to have it taken away a minute later as it wasn't included!

Clean , comfortable, friendly efficient staff . Nice decor , food and drinks available.
Good location.
Excellent value for London!

Nice location, clean and comfortable
Breakfast is from 8 am, when arrived a bit earlier was pointed to fact it’s not 8 yet, they could have invited me in and to sit down and wait there, but had to go back to my room

A wonderful hotel for a quiet holiday, most of all I was struck by the silence in the room, there was a feeling that I lived alone on the floor, so you are guaranteed quiet nights. I felt safe and comfortable. Yes, the rooms are not large, but this is stated in the description, so what can be a claim. The location is beyond praise. My room was perfectly cleaned every day, fresh towels and water. High probability that I will visit again.

Beds were very comfortable and we had about 5 rooms for 10 of us. It was a good stay overall as the water pressure was good, had air-conditioning, TV was a bit small and lacked netflix or good channels - basically it had no useful channels but then again - don't go to London for TV - it would be great to have something to watch when resting from a full day of exploring. Breakfast also had good choices and my family used it a lot. The hotel is more of a private club so you would see a few local folks coming in and out of the hotel.
Rooms were small. Elevators took a while but wasn't that bad.

Location was great with Marble Arch station literally just around the corner about 5 mins away. It's a small premises so it's very quiet and the staff are quite nice and helpful. The park is also 5 mins away, which makes it perfect for runners.
Breakfast takes slightly longer to come out, was late for an appointment due to this. No gym unfortunately so cannot work out on your stay away.
4.2
Easy location close to Hyde Park, main shopping on Oxford and Bond streets.
It honestly felt like it had been super nice at one time but there were small ways it was just CHEAP. no conditioner, no spare toilet roll (and we started with ours only 1/2 full ran out last day), no free water last night, no privacy curtains, no washcloths. Small things you expect in a hotel at this price.
4.2
Location good.
Did not have breakfast
I was over charged by £720. My charge was charged incorrectly and without my authorisation.
I discovered the overcharging after I had checked out.
After a string of phone calls and emails I still have not got full repayment. Very disapointed and angry to be out of pocket.

It’s unique features, great location to Hyde Park. The room was clean and perfect for our stay.
4.2
Unbelievably overpriced hotel with extremely small room even London standard. Old building, squeaky floors, paper thin walls.
4.2
Bed was comfortable. Location was excellent for us.
Room was quite cramped. The "wardrobe" was a short curved rail on which you could hang perhaps 4 items before the door gets blocked. Kettle only provided on request; the Nespresso provided is not to everyone's taste. Shower leaked onto floor. Lobby is small and often congested.

Outdoor area was lovely, staff really helpful and friendly, nice bar area, rooms small however lovely very clean and comfortable
Air conditioning in one of our rooms was working which was disappointing

Location, great but didn’t have breakfast.
Shower very slippery and needs a rubber mat to stand on because my wife slipped and fell.

Location
We booked two rooms and expected them to be the same quality, however one was inferior to the other.

Room small
Had to wait on room at 4pm
Took £50 deposit

Perfect location for BST in Hyde Park - an easy ten minute walk.
4.2
Nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful reception, in a good location. Comfy bed and windows that could be opened for fresh air. Nice atmosphere compared to a large corporate hotel.
My review would have been more positive, but I felt conned by the room description.
Maybe I should have looked more closely, but if I book a 'Delux Queen Room' the minimum expectation is a Queen bed, especially when other rooms are listed as Doubles and I paid extra for my Queen room. When I asked reception about this I was informed that all rooms are doubles...!Unfortunately, this type of thing leaves a slightly bad taste in the mouth.....Please change the room descriptions as currently it is misleading and sets expectations..!

position of the hotel is ideal. 5 min walk from
marble arch tube station. close to some great restaurants. bed was super comfortable and the rooms were quiet.
no cupboards in the bedrooms?! breakfast was very average/not great at all. No one to assist with bags etc as there is no porter/bell boy
