The property was clean and looked like pictures. Based on book/instructions from host though, we were afraid to touch anything or use the restroom without getting an extra charge. The fans and light switches were difficult to figure out, but they were all nice. The beds were okay, and the bathrooms were good. The cleanliness was great, which honestly to me is the most important. But, this place was the most expensive VRBO/Air B&B I have stayed in and it was not the nicest one. Some of the extras were misleading, such as beach toys and kayaking. We had booked this place due to its proximity and ability to go to Masonboro Island to see sea turtles and dolphins. The kayaks were extremely difficult to use from dock and paddles were very short. Our family was unable to go to Masonboro. We went to a beach every day. The owner had chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella, but the boogie board was broken and there were no pails for making sand castles. We had left our beach stuff at home to save room and knowing that this place had this stuff. This trip was okay but disappointing. The place is nice and in a quiet neighborhood, but the reasons we booked it fell short.

Our family had a wonderful trip to Wilmington and it was made even better by our stay in this home. It was very clean and comfortable; we felt very at home in this house. The amenities were fantastic as well. The open floor plan allowed our family to be able to chat whether someone was sitting at the bar eating, someone was cooking or they were sitting in the living room relaxing. The outdoor spaces were awesome too! You have so many options, you feel like you don't have to go anywhere to enjoy some time outside. You could be in bug-free shade (with ceiling fans) or out under a large pavillion or up on the deck, drinking coffee or wine and enjoying your view. They also provided a lot for the home so you really don't have to bring very much if you don't want to. The neighborhood was small and quiet and perfect for daily walks. It was a great bonus to have a dock to walk to with areas to sit and there was even a bench swing. The owners are so nice and let us know they were available if we needed anything or had any questions. Overall, our experience was top tier and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when we visit again. Thank you, Jeff and Elle, for opening your home to myself and my family!

This is a great spot - 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, 15 minutes to Wrightsville or Carolina Beach. The home is quite comfortable, especially the bedding and sheets. Great layout and we made use of the screened in porch as well. Highly recommend and if I come back to the area, would rebook.

Everyone always says about vacation that they are “going to the beach,” so we say that too, but this is our second visit to this lovely home, and we still haven’t made it to any beach. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We saw rabbits, squirrels, and quantities of birds in the backyard. We walked down to the dock at the end of the street and enjoyed the panoramic view. Close relatives met us for wonderful dinners nearly every night in restaurants of many cuisines. While we digested, we worked on a jigsaw puzzle. Our week flew by. Some members of our party threatened to hide under the beds so they wouldn’t have to leave. We had the best of times.

Wow! Wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. It rained our first evening and the Magnolia trees that surrounded the porch made us feel like we were in a rain forest. Great centralized location and the neighborhood was perfect for walking the dogs. Oh, did I mention the beautiful sunsets? We will definitely be booking again next year.

What an incredible property!! The home is just beautiful, and the screened porch was beyond our expectations. The owners have thought of everything and we could not have been more thrilled to spend the week here for our son’s graduation from UNCW. We only wish we had found this property earlier in his tenure there!! Will definitely be back next time we have plans in the Wilmington area!

The home was absolutely beautiful and tucked in a beautifully lush and private neighborhood complete with pond and view of lagoon inlet. And you wouldn't know you were so close to College Road. After a little exploring, we discovered we could get to Carolina beach without getting on main roads. Likewise, good restaurants, like The Keg & Egg, were just around the corner. Having vacationed in Wilmington just a few years we were a little taken aback by the amount of traffic, even on roads in the neighborhood and even in April. A merchant said said it was due to the bridge closure on the bridge that crossed the Cape Feat river downtown, but I'm not so sure. We lucked out with perfect weather. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental.

My husband and I took my father to a concert and stayed at this lovely home and it did not disappoint. From the fully stocked kitchen, lovely plants to the amazing beds!!! This home had everything you could possibly need. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We drove to Kure Beach 2 days and it was just a short drive. The host were so gracious and let us check in a few hours early. Our family has had multiple deaths the past month and this was the perfect place to start some healing. The property and home were a perfectly maintained getaway. It was easy to have multiple people work remotely. The screened porch was peaceful and I would love to return to relax out there surrounded by sounds of nature and beautiful wind chimes. Easy driving access to downtown and Wrightsville Beach. Great local restaurants too.

We travel a lot and have stayed at many rental properties. This is one of the absolute best. The house was immaculate, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac yet convenient to parks, restaurants, sightseeing, beaches. The neighborhood was attractive, and the neighbors were all very friendly. The house was well supplied with virtually anything we could ask for, and Jeff quickly responded to all our questions. We would happily stay again if we were in the area, and we would certainly recommended this house to anyone planning a trip to Wilmington.

This house was as advertised. Great location, beautiful property, well maintained and appointed home. Our family felt very at home for our weeks stay.

We stayed at this house for a week over Thanksgiving and everything was perfect for our small family. The house is comfortable, clean, cozy (without being small) and decorated beautifully. The owner Jeff even decorated it for Christmas for us and left us a bag of chocolates and a bottle of Porsecco to greet us! The house has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well-appointed, the beds and sofa very comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened in porch with the wood burning fireplace and there were plenty of throw blankets around for our use. The property is also lovely and the walk down to the community dock is a short, fun exploration to the river. Finally, the location is perfect for enjoying everything in and around Wilmington and the beaches. Tucked away and peaceful, yet convenient to everything. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

This is a beautiful home in a clean and quiet neighborhood. It is conveniently located to most attractions in Wilmington. The furnishings are modern and high quality. The landscaping is beautifully done. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. Communications with the owners was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

This was the second year in a row we stayed here and, once again, it did not disappoint!! Such a beautiful, well accommodating, home! The owners are easy to reach and very responsive if needed. Five stars all the way!!

The house and garden are stunning! So much beautiful light and space: perfect to recharge and relax together. Amenities covered everything we could have imagined and then some! We loved watching a thunderstorm from the screen porch and seeing an osprey family fly overhead. The lush houseplants keep you feeling close to nature even indoors. Everything was impressively clean; beds and furniture are luxurious; neighborhood is quiet and calm, with welcoming neighbors; notes from the owners were very thorough and clear. It was a lovely place to unwind and felt very safe for family members with compromised immunity which limits travel opportunities.

Enjoyed staying in this nice Place nestled in a heavily wooded subdivision. All amenities and a well equipped kitchen made our stay super nice!

Absolutely gorgeous home that is convenient to everything! This is the most well-stocked vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in with plenty of towels, beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, kitchen & bathroom essentials, etc. The furniture and decor is beautiful, comfortable, and there’s lots of live plants. The screened in porch is amazing also! The beds are very comfortable and have nice linens. Our only recommendation is to have a set of twin beds or bunkbeds in one of the bedrooms to accommodate those who don’t like sharing a bed with someone. Overall, this is an amazing rental, and we had a wonderful time there!

Fantastic property in a great location! Our group of 8 (and 1 dog) were very impressed overall with the house and its rather centralized region to the surrounding Wilmington area! Clean, modern and well appointed, one couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We all enjoyed spending time on the 3 season screened addition. Quiet neighborhood where a short walk will take you to a backbay dock. Driving around the area, most beaches and attractions were within a 15-20 minute drive. No hesitation at all to refer this property to others looking to visit or stay in the Wilmington area. We hope to go back someday in the next couple years! Thank you very much for a great stay!

This property deserves more than 5 starts. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood, in a driving proximity to everything that the are has to offer. It is well designed - the plan is open but three bedrooms give plenty of privacy. It is exceptionally clean. The kitchen is well stocked - pots, glassware, coffee maker, dishwasher, spices etc. The owner even left us bottled water in the fridge (I have to say - we rent through VRBO a lot, and this was the first, so lovely!). Our son loved the covered porch with the big TV. The wifi was perfect - great speed for streaming, and for Zoom meetings for the unfortunate ones who have to work during their vacations. The owner is very responsive and clearly cares/goes above and beyond to ensure that the tenants have a nice stay. Central AC is great in the hot summer, and a nice master bedroom shower and Jacuzzi are definitely a plus. We were very comfortable and enjoyed this lovely clean property - it helped make our stay very relaxing. Thank you, Jeff!

This property is perfectly located outside of the noise but close enough to everything we wanted to do. We loved sitting out in the screened porch. This property was very well kept!

This property is beautiful. The privacy and quiet make you feel like you are at a nature reserve. We saw lots of birds and squirrels, but also a red fox and a beautiful large egret. The house is laid out wonderfully and the owner is extremely responsive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this home. We hope to come back soon!

If you are from New England, you may appreciate this review. Wilmington is an odd mix of the Cape Cod feeling and Florida! The Southern Magnolia is now my favorite flowering tree. Jeff's house was very welcoming and I felt very comfortable staying there for the 2 weeks I booked. So close to everything and had an AMAZING meal at the Keg and Egg at the local restaurant you could walk to! No siting of a gator...but I looked! The streaming TV channels was great! The house was fully stocked, so I didn't need anything else! Jeff was an awesome host, too. My pup and I had a lovely stay.

We enjoyed this lovely home very much. It was a quiet haven apart from all the graduation activities, but also perfect for our celebration dinner and family party. There were many nice touches and a variety of areas to choose from. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and the very open family room. Jeff was available if we needed him, but everything was ready for us with no need to contact him. We would love to return some time in the future.

All home comforts and more. Very peaceful setting. Our dog loved running in the garden with the ball. Neighbors very nice. Parks just a couple of miles away and coffee shop just 5mins drive. Jeff was very good giving us recommendations in the area. Would highly recommend this property.

I spent a month in this VRBO and there isn't a rating high enough to give Jeff and Ellen's house! Jeff met me at check-in to give us a tour and instructions., and he responded quickly to any questions I had throughout the moths. The home was meticulously clean, the beds, sheets, blankets, and furniture were so soft and cozy. The floor plan of the house is perfect. The kitchens and baths are well appointed. The landscaping is lush and well maintained giving us a feeling of privacy. The neighborhood is clean and beautiful with friendly neighbors, and seemed very safe. I DEFINITELY would rent this space again. As I mentioned....I DIDN'T want to leave!!
