Fantastic family location

Pool rooms a little dated, but very functional!

Tout était propre et accueillant. Grand appartement très bien équipé. Très bien situé au bord du lac ♥️

Si l’intérieur est classé il est dommage que la petite terrasse ne soit pas aussi soignée.

Good place with great views, bedrooms and bathroom clean, kitchen well equipped

Main room could of done with a bit of a deeper clean esp around the windows a few old cobwebs dust etc.

Location - right on the lakefront, walking distance to restaurants, very spacious, the sofa bed was a pleasant surprise (I was able to escape the snoring partner 🤣)

The location was great, very clean inside and well stocked.

Outdoor area was a little tired and rundown Food splatters up walls outside as well as different coloured paint covering up rust. Cobwebs on outdoor furniture.

Location excellent. Reception staff were welcoming and informative of things to do in the area.

The downstairs garden room was dark from midday onwards.

Mattress very soft and bouncy, I am used to a very firm mattress. The stairs- I scraped the back of my foot walking down the stone stairs as I tried to put my whole foot on the step and, when lifting my foot up it took off some skin Luckily I had.a.plaster with me.

Some noise from other guests on their balconies, but most people were pretty respectful

Room was spacious, had a full kitchen and bathroom and a seated area outside. Handy to town.

It was tidy but not clean, dust and hairs on skirting boards, the extractor fan in bathroom had dust hanging off it and shower had mould. Pool felt run down.

Pool area not everything worked.. plugs in rooms didn’t work.. ants were everywhere

The view from the lake front room (room 28) .. room was so clean and tidy! Had everything you needed 😁

The fact there was only 1 roll of toilet paper, we had to ask for more the next morning.

Super convenient location, walking distance to town etc. pretty quiet given that it was super busy

Parking was a challenge with a small narrow carpark but also plenty of street parking directly opposite so not a major. Cleaners had overlooked some hair clips from the previous tenant left in the shower though everything was very clean so also not a major.

Private and secure with the lovely central gardens, a real positive to other Taupo motels. Very friendly manager and staff. Spotless room

Really spacious and comfortable rooms, lovely grounds and layout. Cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery and utensils all present, matching, clean and laid out in drawers, fantastic attention to detail which is often overlooked in other places. Perfect location right in town next.to the lake but still peaceful and quiet at night. Although we didn't have a lake view in our apt it was still nice to sit out on the balcony. Kids loved the ping pong and pool.tables.

Pool was small and kind of pointless, the lake is right there so I know where I'd rather take a morning swim!. Decor is kind of dated, but well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and somewhat charming. No complaints here, just know what to expect and you'll have a great stay at great value.

It was to close to town on the road side and we heard arguments etc late at night The jets in the spas didn’t work but on the other hand I don’t usually even go in them At other hotels because of the hygiene at least these ones were clean!

Motel bien placé, bien agencé, propre et bien équipé, jardin magnifique.

Le bruit la nuit, difficile de dormir. Mais ce n'est pas la faute du motel. Tous les spas en pannes
