The receptionist that was on duty then was not helpful at all. I was advised by her to just write a review, so my concern will reach the management. So here I am... I only chose to book at Maine City Residences, as I needed to be at the bus terminal near there the following morning. I do not expect a 5-star treatment, as I know that Maine City Residences is pretty cheap. However, basics, like bathroom slippers should be provided. When I asked the the receptionist about it, and if I will be barefoot in the toilet (since they do not provide slippers according to her), she confidently answered yes. It was so disappointing. If this really is the case (which shouldn't be in the first place), she should have said it in a more professional way (confirming that I will be barefoot in the toilet since they do not provide slippers to all the guests) The way she handled the situation was not helpful at all. To the management, giving your staff proper training on how to deal with customers is essential. Making sure that basic needs are given to your guests (Bathroom slippers are necessary) is a must. Btw, I wasn't an irate guest. I asked nicely. Anyway, this is a very bad experience. I do not recommend this place, and I will probably not book here again.

Staff are accommodating

If you are planning to book here, don't get the room 1101 near the reception area, to loud especially in the morning, you will hear the voices of staffs outside. TV was useless due to poor connection.

The room doesn’t make much sense, you cannot fully open the bathroom door because the sink is in the way. If you have the fan on, the blinders can get loud.

did not prioritize those that were book in this app even if you paid ahead. room for aircon turned to fan room because they dont read the details of the booking. room is not clean. very disappointing stay.

Didn't take any breakfast. Location is close to the Manila Adventist Hospital which was convenient because I needed to visit the hospital.

Internet availability rather intermittent and had some black spots, sometimes had to leave the room to reach areas where WIFI signal could be accessed. Electricity supply kept tripping. There is a very noisy truck that comes to supply water to the hotel but it is rather annoying with its noise when they are pumping the water, also it stands right at the front entrance of the hotel and looks rather clumsy.
