It’s not often we mention an extractor fan, but the one here is quite funky. There’s a homely vibe with the mix of art and plants too. On warm summer days, unwind in the enclosed garden and have a picnic on the grass. Or head out to explore the delights of Edinburgh, while the Queen’s official Scottish residence, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, is just a ten-minute amble. The Royal Mile and Scottish Parliament are both a fifteen-minute saunter away. Or take the family to Dynamic Earth, a state-of-the-art attraction that tells the story of the planet Earth, a seventeen-minute walk. Another visitor favourite, Edinburgh Castle, is just over thirty minutes on foot (twelve minutes in the car).
