A wonderful place to stay, very friendly welcome, the most comfortable beds and log fire. Great for a group of friends or family, sparkling lake behind the property, amazing kayaking and treks near by. Only 15 mins from Rotorua.
Anne is a great host and we’re looking forward to retuning for a wonderful lamb roast .
We liked everything about Tikitere Lodge.

Everything. Beautiful and cozy house in a beautiful location. Big rooms along with ensuite in each room. Heaps of place for kids in the backyard to play along with swings and trampoline. Private access to lake , free kayaks. The beds, linen, kitchen equipments, furnishing, everything was top notch. Free BBQ and hot tub to relax. On top of it Anne was lovely and her family were really nice and hospitable. They made us feel very comfortable. Thank you. Looking forward to bring my other family members here next time we’re in Rotorua.

We were met by our host. Ann was so warm and welcoming. The Lodge exceeded our expectations. The facilities were excellent, very comfortable beds. The glowing fire of the solid fuel heater was so warm and inviting. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

We received the warmest welcome as the owners are wonderful and committed to making our stay exceptional. The location was perfect. I wish we had more time to enjoy the house and surrounding yard activities! The ability to do laundry was so helpful and essential to that point in our trip. We would stay here again over and over!

Nothing. Hospitality was wonderful and Anne, Matt and Anna very friendly. We loved walking among the trees and Stuart came home with seeds he was delighted with. A true bonus. Thank you for allowing Alice to park her camper there. We will return.

The warm welcome from the host, the facilities and the extra touches like, provision of spa towels for the spa, bathrooms all had shampoos, soaps etc,plenty of kitchen condiments, wifi, sky tv.

a litany of delights! so clean, wonderful, spacious, light filled rooms, large comfortable beds with beautiful bed linen & fluffy towels, generously stocked kitchen, bathrooms & laundry, glorious gardens & a private beach on the lake!! in addition the hosts were all graciousness and kind hospitality, even purchasing a birthday cake for my son! we plan to return for an extended stay!!

Hosts Anne and Matt were very welcoming and helpful. The beds were luxurious and very comfortable with quality bedding. There were many other thoughtful touches throughout the house, such as cosy rugs on the lounge, toiletries provided, and even a herb and spice rack in the kitchen. Each bedroom had its own ensuite. Probably the most comfortable lounge ever.

Breakfast was amazing! Accidentally took their butter…our friends brought their own and got confused when packing! Hosts are amazing and make you feel like family!! Highly recommend ❤️

Friendly whānau feel to the stay. I felt that I was able to be alone if I wanted to or spend time with the hosts if I wanted to and both choices were fine. The facilities were beautiful and really made me feel that I was having a relaxing holiday. Heaps of beautiful native manu too. Stunning.

This was the best experience I’ve had so far here in New Zealand. The rooms are very comfortable, super clean, the house was very harm, clean, with an amazing and comfortable living room. I really recommend this house. The super hosts Anne and Matt were super helpful and kind and provided us the best experience we could have whilst in Rotorua.
