Met by the most lovely warm welcoming gentleman, was delightful and gave us an upgrade and unexpected little chocolates, He also allowed us to keep our hunting dogs in the truck onsite, lucky they are good dogs and don't bark. It's the little thoughtful things that count. Great facilities, very comfy beds & pillows. Love that the pools is heated and open until 10pm. All in all an awesome stay and we plan to make this our go to when staying in Rotorua.

very quiet location and rooms were very comfortable for our family of 4. we also loved the pools - great place when travelling with children. very clean and hosts were very welcoming.

Great place to stay. Owner and family were great. The heated outdoor pool was soooo good. The room was great. Spacious, had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. It is dated, but we weren’t too fussed.

Nothing not to like..

accommodation was comfortable, staff were nice and helpful, and the pool was excellent for me and my young boys

disappointed that "pay at the motel" meant I got stung for 4% AMEX fee... on the booking.com website it was not made clear that I would not be able to pay by another (fee free) method upon arriving at the motel

The Thermal Pools were amazing! the beds were comfortable and grounds and location perfect

The room was surface clean but the bathroom could have done with a more intense clean, shower was dirty and around back of toilet had dirt and dead bugs. The TV remote was going flat so TV played up, we put some new batteries in it.

the shower, it kept filling up and wouldn’t drain properly. so we had towels all over the floor. besides that everything was Perrrrfecto!

Very comfortable size and neat. Kids enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and hubby enjoyed the mineral pool.

A shower curtain would do the trick!

It was torrential rain and the heated swimming pool and hot mineral pools were a massive heat with me and the kids. Our trip would have been a washout without them. Very warm and friendly welcome too. Thank you!

handily placed, great room, very well equipped (including cooking facilities), excellent beds, easy parking, great private thermal pools, lovely owner.

They went upstairs to tell my parents they can not let their employee to stay in the room. My parents could not speak English, and I am sure there is some misunderstanding. But this is not the way of hospitality.
