Room was fine, bed was comfortable. But didnt like that you had to go outside in your swimsuit to get to the pool. Or else bring your suit to the pool and change clothes there. Breakfast was better than expected.

Clean room, comfy bed & pillows. Room had fridge & microwave. Fairly quiet. A little noisy if you are looking to sleep in past 8am. Didn't have the free breakfast but coffee in lobby was good and always available. Free Shuttle available to downtown Petosky was great! Great value in staying here.

Nice location. Two story no elevator but not a problem. Could maybe of had first floor if I asked. Good value.

The property was okay, but it was a dated property. The rooms were not bad. We had a double queen room. One queen was comfortable, but the other queen's mattress was a rock and went down hill. The room had a bad smell that stayed even with turning on the hvac. It was an affordable room, but if the price was any higher than the $79 we spent, I wouldn't recommend.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The property was in a very convenient location, right on 131 with Walmart and Bob Evans across the street and Meijer store and gas station nearby. Reasonably priced as well. We didn't utilize the pool or visit the breakfast room.

The carpet was stained. Laminate flooring would go along way to refreshing the room!

Our stay was fine. The room had several fruit flies clinging to the mirror. It was an annoyance. The continental breakfast was basic nothing to write home to Mom about. It was quiet no outside commotions. The staff wasn’t that pleasant.

We booked accessible room. Toilet was fine with handrails, bathtub instead of walk-in shower. No room for wheelchair if one was needed. Used the ironing board for desk. Breakfast nothing special, table in pool area.

The room was clean, but it smelled as if they had painted that day or the day before. Probably should have watied one more day before renting. Close to downtown and easy to get to. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean.

My room wasn't cleaned on 8-18-24. One of the lamps wasn't working as well as a electric outlet next to the bathroom. The women's bathroom by the pool was dirty. The room was comfortable. When I went outside my room, the smell of pot overwhelmed me. It was nice having a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. It was just an okay stay. I felt a bit uneasy staying there by myself. The young lady at the front desk made checking in and out easy.

The Super 8 is a good value for the money; it is reasonably clean, reasonably quiet - considering a lot of construction vehicles were coming and going. The only thing that bothered me is in the bathroom the tub is a step up to get in and a step down to get out - and there are no safety bars anywhere. I consider that a safety issue, and should be addressed. I had to grab onto the door to get out of the tub, otherwise I may have fallen. Other than that, it was good.

The check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean but could have used some updating and touch ups on the paint. The entry way had some men hanging out smoking in front of the rooms. It was kind of scary but they didnt bother us in any way. Staff was very friendly.

The room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The light above the sink would not turn on. The bathroom vent was held up by duct tape. There were gaps between the floor and bathtub. The door stop was broken as well.

Room just didn’t feel clean - it felt dark & damp. Beds were comfortable, water got got right away. Heater was on in room when we checked in - 77°! Felt uncomfortable in the parking lot due to people outside - loud. Breakfast was okay. Construction outside hotel again.

The bathroom was not clean. The baseboards are coming off the wall. The tub floor creeks and the exhaust fan is noisy. The sink is cracked. Cars were parked outside our door so we wouldn’t open our curtains. The tv remote didn’t work. The bottom of my white socks were very dirty after walking on the carpet.
The bed and pillows were comfortable and our room was straightened and replenished daily.

Rooms are in need of updates- peeling paint, large gaps in door, mirrors & windows need cleaning, cloth visible hanging down under beds, room smelled musty, BR fan very loud, standing in ankle deep water to shower. Walls are very thin - listened to ppl talking & coughing all night, ppl standing outside of rooms smoking & hanging out and loud vehicles running. Very small office - apparently have muffins & coffee in the morning in that space - did not take part in this. Door off the office into small pool - strong chlorine odor.

Great place to get some rest from a long drive. Petoskey is a beautiful place. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have some seating right near the breakfast corner instead of by the pool due to the strong smell of chlorine. We had to take our breakfast and walk all the way back to our room on level 2 to heat the cold breakfast. I would come back here if ever passing by again

There is nothing wrong with the place and nothing to talk about. It is an older building that is in need of some routine maintenance. The room was clean but smelled musty. The shower dripped as did the sink. Their pet fee was one of the more expensive but the room did not justify that. Breakfast was nothing special but the coffee machine they had was new up to date model with many coffee options.

needs updating bad, appeared to be a rent by hour?, Day?, Week? did not get that information reading the description of the hotel. There was a mother, daughter and son staying there, the little boy had a bike and riding it around , if they were not living there, did not understand why he had a bike and brought right into the building. Some staff was nice, we tried to be nice to all,
so nothing happened to our car over night. To be blunt we did not feel safe there. We had a two night reservation but cancelled the second night . and went to another hotel just down the road. Much nicer and felt complete at ease there.

Was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in, the toilet did not flush, the bedding was stained, and nobody seems to want to reach out to me from the hotel

The place was nice and clean and quiet. The help was friendly and accommodating. The bed was very bad. When you sit down on one side of the bed you would slide off and on the other side there were 3 metal pieces sticking out and were really painful when you happened to get in or out of bed and your leg would hit one.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room overall was nice. The bathroom had quite a few issues. Cracks in the shower surround, large area where water had sat on the floor and discolored it, trim didn’t fit, paint wasn’t done around the toilet.
