Location and ambiance of the hotel is unforgettable
5.0
10 days at the PK (locals appreviate) was just right! We enjoyed breakfast daily (extra), being close to the ocean, across the street, shopping on both sides of Kalakaua! The only issue we had that the PK really needs to clear up asap is the elevators! They are old and it shows! We're going back in March 2025, hopefully, they will be working in pristine condition by then.

It was a great first experience in Honolulu, and it was even a greater experience staying at the hotel!

The location itself is in a great spot it’s close to everything. We got the renovated room so it was “nicer”. Hotel staff was mainly friendly with the exception of one of the front desks girls when I asked her where the gym was and she looked at me annoyed and answered me as if I was a slow child. The pool was nice and spacious. Elevators are being renovated so they took a LONG time but the staff allowed us to use the service elevator. There is no valet parking but a parking garage down the street with no elevators. So if you’re carrying a lot of things walking down or up the stairs could be an issue. There’s also very limited parking, some of those cars do not move for multiple days. All in all, it’s a good hotel with friendly staff. It’s good enough for you to stay shower and sleep. Who spends their vacation in a hotel room anyway?
Extras * parking does cost $45/night *

The room had an ocean view.i started my day on the lanai with a cup of coffee, and ended it the same way. The hotel is in a great location with access to restaurants, shoppers, and the beach.

Benjamin at the Splash Bar was very engaging and professional. We enjoyed our stay and our Two beautiful Tropical drinks compliments of Sheraton for our Anniversary.

The location is nice. If your getting a tower, male sure its above thr 10th floor or you will get q really limited view the beach past th3 pool.

College football team (Boise State University) played Hawaiian Rainbows football team during our visit. My husband, Rocky, Alumni of BSU, 1965-1970. We joined many Hawaiians that are Alumni of BSU. We sadly lost our sister and returning for her Life Celebration in November. We truly enjoyed our stay at The PK! Breakfast was such a pleasant addition and the staff was terrific! Our room staff was so professional and friendly, these reasons bring your customers back, like us! We are very happy to be returning to the PK! Mahalo and Meke Aloha!

The room was fantastic, great bed, great view. The elevators were under repair so always lined up, and the kitchen absolutely sucks. But the beds are great!

After 45 years of patronizing this lovely hotel, we won't return. Service is so poor, as though contempt for guests. Reservations is the worst! The phone rings and rings - and they NEVER answer. They offer discounts that guests have no access to - this is illegal in many states. A huge money grab that DOES NOT CARE

It is an old hotel, but all the facilities were clean and pleasant. The hotel swimming pool facilities were good, and Waikiki Beach was also visible from the accommodation. The best thing was the accessibility. It was convenient to walk to Waikiki Beach, close to the shopping center, and take a shuttle to cultural facilities nearby.
3.0
While the hotel was amazing, there are so many price gouges that we did not expect. We had to pay resort fees, parking fees, several different types of taxes and service fees, even over $300 for an extra person in the room. It was a lot of hidden fees that we did not expect. The elevator system was not efficient, often passing our floor and having to wait for the one elevator to finally stop on our floor, and then stopping all the way down to piick up everyone on the way. Sometimes it would take 20 minute just to get downstairs from the 27th floor!
Nonetheless, the hotel is convenient to everything. we liked that everything was nearby and the rooms were comfortable.

Great location and great staff - certainly recommend

Overall the hotel room itself felt like it could use an update to me. They have multiple towers and at least one of them was updated recently, but we were in an older one. The bathroom felt small and really dated. The room itself was fine although the bed was rather uncomfortable for a hotel at this price point.

Too little elevatirs for the tower rooms. Had to wait with trafic jam in a hotel is not nice.

Although I booked a king, I was offered two doubles. Upon consideration, they found the king I was promised. The stay was flawless, the resort credit very useful, and the staff was exceedingly polite. Except for being charged an extra night after I checked out, the stay was recommendable. I would certainly book there again!

I would not stay here again. Too many issues with this place and parking is outrageous! Even if you pay you may not be able to park. Only one working elevator, spent hours of my vacation waiting in line to get an elevator to my floor, the pool closes at 7 pm. Took me an hour to get get checked into my room and I didn’t get the promised view. Also I was charged for resort fee for which I was unable to participate in the amenities they offer for that fee it’s quite expensive. The staff was not very professional and somewhat rude.Just to name a few!

Unfortunately we came on the wrong time with the strike starting when we arrived and finished when we left. Thanks Sheraton for improvising and proving amenities in the lobby. The bathroom can surely use an upgrade looks rundown and when we arrived water took awhile to drain but luckily maintenance fixed it before he went on strike. Overall if you want an affordable and close to mall hotel this is the place. Reasonable prices

The hotel workers went on strike halfway through our trip. No restaurants, bars or hotel amenities open or available. On top of that they were banging drums and yelling on bullhorns all day and night, stop sleeping was not possible.

Problems with parking .Not easy to find parking at this property.

Even though there was a strike going on the staff were still cordial and efficient in completing their tasks. The property was conveniently locked just down the street from the beach, shopping and food.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. Before our arrival a couple days, I received an email from Samantha (customer service department) providing me with pre-check-in info and also asking me if we will need anything during our stay. Just an email like that made me already feel welcome even before setting foot on the property.
The room was clean.not super-size but it was clean and comfy. (Received a complimentary room upgrade. The staff were all very nice. Got a compliment champagne treat for two due to our anniversary. Food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were pretty good.
The location of this hotel is super convenient. Waikiki beach is practically right across the street. International Market is almost right next door .so does the Duty-Free Shop and the Royal Hawaian Shopping Center etc...
Only 2 minor things: elevators are still under remodeling so there was line sometime. Coming back late at night, parking space may not be available, and you have to park over at the International Market garage and get reimbursed by the hotel.
Will definitely stay here again! Thank you, Samantha and all staff, for a pleasure stay!

Booked city view however the hotel says they upgraded the room to 5th floor in the other wing, the view is the parking lot. I am requesting to get the original room i booked, city view but they said no available

Was on the 26th floor and the view was fantastic. But the wind was very noisy at times especially the day the storm went nearby- hard to sleep, hard to concentrate. Would not want the same room again. Some of the elevator doors close really quickly. Love the music while waiting for the elevator.

Located at the heart of Waikiki, good infrastructure, nice outer appearance, tropical garden and palms, friendly and helpful Staff, elevator situation at the moment not satisfying, too many people and too less elevators available, the Kaiulani wing urgently needs a renovation.

So close to everything. Housekeeping was amazing. The staff at the splash bar were very rude. Ignoring us and not treating us like guests. Slamming our fools and drinks down without saying a word. Only spoke to us after we tipped.
Wish pool had longer hours.

Room was not the best for the price we paid. Reserved a 2 bed, cite view on line. However, upon check in they wanted to give me a king with a roll away. I insisted that only a 2-bed city view would work. I was told they had made an exception for me and they gave me a two bedroom with city view. Not sure why I was told this because this is what I had reserved in the first place. Well, sadly they gave me a room with the view of a garage and loud construction going on. I don’t plan on staying here again, with so many other hotels around. All hotels are close to Waukiki beach and possibly nicer.

Awesome hotel just across the street from Waikiki Beach. We tried a couple of restaurants in the area but the hotel restaurant was the best of all. This hotel is walkable to everything. They have a nice pool and staff is very friendly. We had an ocean view room that so lovely. Highly recommend!
10.0
Great location as the beach is right across the street and very convenient to stores & restaurants. Only disadvantage was parking as there was no elevator access and no valet service.
6.0
Excellent location! sadly our room was next to the lift and it was so loud all night long. The lifts to the tower are incredibly slow and there are often long lines and service elevators need to be used as well. Our room keys only worked for a day or 2 and then we would get locked out of our room and need to get keys redone :-(
Was a great central location but and most of the staff were super friendly and helpful!

We loved our breeze on the 8th floor balcony. We enjoyed our stay.
I did have a slight issue with the concierge on Saturday night. I did not realize that it was 14 minutes from closing and she kept mumbling under her breath how she did not want to be late leaving. I was asking about a tour at kahlua ranch and she told me well I would just need to call them cuz she can't as they were closed. I asked about the bus, was told I would need to leave at 5 am and pretty much threw a bus route at me, not taking the time to explain it to me.

The staff was lovely! All helpful! And easy to get a hold and quick to respond! The facility was clean and in a safe location. The hotel was near all major bus and trolley routes! Also very close to the beach, malls and food courts’
