I wanted to give this hotel another try because last year the ninth floor i stayed on was suseptible to outside noises late at night. So i emailed through this website for a request of a higher floor. It paid off. I was given the 11th floor. That made the difference. It was quieter and i was able to sleep. The gym is still spacious and not busy if you go early in the morning. The check-in and out is Definitely worth staying there again next year..

Some of the staff and management was extremely rude..but their was one really nice Manager Mr Palaie Tia outstanding customer service.

Parking sucks. When you pay a lot of money to stay you should have a leasy free parking or a discount for staying there. Over all great hotel.

Our family reserved 2 rooms at the Waikiki' Alohilani Resort for 14 days after abruptly leaving a VRBO that was not suitable. The Alohilani is perfect. It is situated just steps away from Waikiki Beach and nestled among coffee shops, retail, and ice cream places. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The property is beautiful. We took advantage of the daily breakfast buffet for the extra cost and we loved it. The meal choices were different everyday. I will always choose the Alohilani. If you’re a mom looking for a suitable place for your family to stay while in Hawaii, this is it.

The pool is nice to hangout. The resort provided pool lounge chair covers, which is a nice touch. Our room was cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a diamondhead and partial ocean view room - it’s the best getting up every morning to that view. Loud noises happened a couple of nights. It’s because of the luau nearby but it stopped by 9pm. We definitely stay at Alohilani Resort again when in Waikiki!

Decent property, don’t think it should be a 5 star though. Room smelt like the sea and musty, so A/C was constantly running to keep us comfortable. No running fan in the bathroom, not sure if they are supposed to come with one? Bathroom constantly musty and foggy during showers. Toilet did have a bidet though, that was a nice touch. The cabanas were “cool” but not $150 $100 minimum on drinks / food cool. I mean guess it’s to make you look more exclusive to the people eating at the tables. But to me, it felt I paid $250 to watch people eating at their tables with coverage. Food was good. Oyster was not, had to fight swallowing that one. It was like the biggest seasoned sauced booger. Stomach hurt immediately after. Barely any shopping inside the resort, just small independent shops. ABC store got most my business. Walking to beach was literally just a street over, it was perfect. Had our own personal homeless guy outside our building from 10pm-3am. He sat in front of the “Waikiki Resort Hotel” up from the McDonalds and just screamed to himself and anyone who was in distance to hear him but not touch him. I wanted to scream back and argue cause I was drunk and bored myself, but I forgot I’m a classy person. Morimoto Asia = Food was bomb. Price was $$$$. Noi Thai = Food was trash. Price was $$$ for a handful. This is coming from Thai people. KFOODHAWAII = Food was 🔥! Price was $$. Maybe best Korean teriyaki chicken / beef I’ve experienced.

Very nice, polite staff. Helpful. We’ve had bad experiences with thief’s in the city that broke into our rental car and stole our items (docs, money, ect.). Manager Noah helped us a lot to enjoy our stay in Hawaii THANK YOU very much Alohilani management for training such a great staff members. When we will come back to Hawaii, this property will be number 1 choice to stay at MAHALO

Nice property but got the feeling they are keen to extract the dollar out of you. We checked in early and the staff member said we’d have to come back at 3 pm as the place was full. But if we paid $100 we could maybe check in at noon!!! I mean if you are full you are full!! Then she told us about the resort tax.. huge rip off.

I liked everything

Resort was wonderful, staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint would be that there was no vent/fan in the bathroom. Making it very difficult to use the mirror after showering and this also caused some mold to be in the bathroom. You could dee they cleaned it frequently but venting the bathroom would fix the majority of the problem. The breakfast buffet was a favorite amongst our family, especially the large fishtank that you could see in the dinning area. Beautiful location with an amazing view from the saltwater infinity pool. Beach was right across the street and anything you might want or need was within walking distance.

Property was nice. The check in was long!!! Took forever. The elevators take some time. Overall it was good. Average but good.

Staff was friendly and professional. I was not happy with my original room and they had no problem changing my rooms for me.

The hotel is located at the middle of Waikiki beach, very close to the beach and extremely convenient. It’s a little old, tho understandable considering the location. The first day check in wasn’t very clean in the bathroom, some obvious water stain on the counter and glass, can be tolerate, other than that, perfect experience.

Hotel is in a great location, right across the beach. Our greatest compliment would the food, restaurants were great. Nice staff as well.

Great property overall! Clean, beautiful rooms. There is concierge service on the property to help book last minute tours (great selection of tours). Beautiful property. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The only issue my family had was the pool area is not for guests only. Non-hotel guests can purchase a day pass to access the pool which was a bit of an inconvenience since the pool area is not that big, and it was not fully a family-friendly vibe

Amazing experience, had all the amenities we would needed for our 5 day stay. Service was great, really appreciate all the staff. 10/10 would definitely be staying again.
