Filthy. The floors, holes in shower curtain, flat pillows, no privacy. The webpage depicts an entirely different location look and feel. You get there and you have a parking lot view. Carpet is filthy, Thin walls. It was a dive of doves. Tried to get money back before we checked in bc I felt we were mislead based on webpage. They refused. We left after staying 2 nights and we were booked for 4. Disgusting. I was willing to lose my money and go elsewhere.

The room was simply that...it had a king bed which was comfortable but the toilet had trouble flushing and the air conditioner leaked. In both cases, the management was advised and they seemed genuinely concerned. As with many places, I had to leave $100 deposit (to be returned in 7 days) which I absolutely detest. The carpet was old and I was surprised it was still down. Besides a couple of items like that, it served its purpose and we had a good night's rest.

Staff was friendly and accomidating. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was gross. No elevator that i saw so three aets of stairs. Carpet to stairs, you could see the heavy use. Carpet was grey but a heavy brown from foot traffic. Carpet in rooms wasnt much clean either. We had two hard plastic chairs in the room and a clothes rod. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Not the worst hotel ive been in, but also not the best. The hotel use the be a super 8. Still has the sign on the back of the door. Shower head had good pressure but srayed out the sides like not peeing after sex. The hotel could use updating but a decent place to stay for a couple of nights if need be.

Better than the reviews online. Staff was helpful. The room freshly painted and bathroom was clean. The hallway carpet is still grungy looking.

I typically don't like to leave a negative review but the employee that checked us into the hotel apparently did not see the out of order notes for the room that he assigned us to when we checked in. The first room we were assigned had an incredibly awful musty odor due to a very large wet area in the room underneath the air conditioning unit. The second room that we were assigned had less of an odor and so, not wanting to be a complaining guest, I went out to the store to get a Glade plug-in so that I could tolerate staying in the room for the weekend. We were gone all the first day that we were in the area and didn't get back until a bit later and we're very tired and went right to bed. When we woke up the morning of our check out the carpet was soaking wet and the musty odor was very very strong despite the Glade plug-in. When I went to check out, I told the front desk person about the odor and the wet carpet. That is when he informed me that both rooms that we were assigned were supposed to be out of order and not to be rented. He also informed me that there were plenty of other room types that the original employee who checked us in could have put us into. He didn't know why that person didn't put us in another room type on a different floor. Needless to say I will not be staying at this hotel again as I can't trust that some employees will follow the notes on the rooms and some won't. I will say that the bed, towels, and the bathroom were all clean.

David is an awesome dude. He was very helpful and treats all of his staff with respect. The facility was in excellent and tidy condition. I hope to return soon with my family

Very friendly staff, carpets throughout the building is very worn and stained and pull out twin bed was VERY uncomfortable and noisy. Very spacious rooms but the AC units don't cool them very well in my opinion. Overall a nice stay.

The cleaning ladies did a magnificent job and went above and beyond, made my kids a little play area in the room and even made the bed with the blankets they brand from home and so much more, I’ll definitely stay again, they message to make you feel at home and let you know if you ever need anything they are a text away and honestly everyone from from desk to management to maintance made the trip amazing, the room itself was great as well and very clean

For the price, this is a good bargain hotel. If you aren’t looking for the Taj Mahal or anything super fancy this is a decent hotel with very friendly management. We only stayed one night to drop our daughter off at UNCW. Property is old but redone and very clean. Clerk at desk was super nice and complimentary coffee in lobby very good. Appreciated the refrigerator in room although a hair dryer would’ve been nice. As for location, not an unsafe area but was adjacent to a drug treatment center. We didn’t encounter any issues but could see how it might be a problem.

A lot of negative reviews about this place, but while slightly dated, we found it to be very clean and quiet. Overall a great Blair for the money, and would happily stay here again.

This is a very basic small hotel with limited accessories. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.

As others have stated, the carpet is absolutely disgusting!! I wouldn’t walk around barefoot in the room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, it was ok. For the price I wasn’t expecting much but that carpet needs to go!

The staff allows drug addicts to frecuente the premises because they are ‘harmless’ the rooms are filthy, the beds are uncomfortable and they don’t even place enough towels. No one is at the front desk in the evening so if something happens you’re locked out. The lighting in the rooms is completely inadequate and when the upstairs uses their sink it drips to the room below.Manager does not answer phones.

There was leftover food from the previous occupants in the refrigerator. This leads me to believe nothing was cleaned. The area is unsafe. There is a nice outdoor smoking area. The staff was very friendly.

Coastal and and suites: Cozy and quaint, friendly and helpful staff. It was so adorable we decided to stay an extra night. Don't forget to grab a couple of steaks and throw them on the barbie!
