The bed and breakfast is located in a beautiful historical building which has seen better days and the neighborhood is really shady.

The staff and breakfast were excellent. For areas of improvement, the road sign needs a light to illuminate it at night and the plants around it need to be trimmed to improve visibility. The landscaping on the grounds and on the porch need upkeep and improvement. It would be helpful to add a write up or plaque about the history of the home as you enter.

This is a lovely old house that looks totaly restored. The bed was very comfortable.

Rosemont B&B is just delightful. Rita is warm and welcoming, the room was spacious and beautifully furnished, the bathroom luxurious, and the breakfast delicious. We’ve already booked a return visit!

They canceled my reservation at the last minute and left us completely on the street. So sad. Check if everything is ok with your reservation before you arrive so you don't have the same experience.

Property is extremely run down on outside, surrounded by unkempt weeds, bare dirt and overgrown plants. It is in a run down area of the city which isn’t conducive for safe nighttime strolling. Inside is better in terms of room decorative furnishings, though still run down-windows frames are cracked and splintered from age, etc. Clearly efforts have been made to update a very run down house into a more upscale b&b, but needs a lot more work in terms of the actual structure and the appearance on outside.The odor from cleaning solution and intense lavender in the room was overpowering and caused a breathing problem for me; i didn’t want to try to sleep under those circumstances, and my husband agreed that we shouldn’t stay. He noticed that the fire alarm system appeared to be inoperable (it’s his area of expertise) and didn’t like that. Also, though it did not say on the Expedia reservation, I was told that because I used them to book, we would have to pay for our breakfast, they don’t include it in the price. Disappointing experience all around and of course non refundable, so an expensive lesson.

Like stepping back in time with modern conveniences this B&B didn’t disappoint. The owners make you fell right at home. From sitting in the parlor surrounded by antiques, rocking on the porch in the cool night air to the delicious to the healthy and generous individually prepared breakfasts and a fantastic selection of teas, they do everything to make you feel like your home.

Venus was awesome, as she arranged drivers for us to Cooperstown and Edmeston New York, where Public transportation and/or Uber/Lift drivers were very limited. She was also very helpful with dining options, things to do and the breakfasts were excellent. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk with!!! Highly recommended, if we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back

Classic B&B Mansion managed by Rita, the inn-keeper and her family. The room was clean and compfortable. Old carpeting in hallway but aside from that, the bed was comfortable and bath was newly renovated. Will be back for sure!

One night stay and not planned ahead. This establishment was rated very well and for good reason. The staff goes all out to please their guests. It was nicely furnished and a real treat for someone that is into early American architecture and furniture. That said, the bed and bathroom is modern and very comfortable. The location is close to good dining and other brand hotels. The price was best available for the night we stayed and I was very happy with the accommodations.

The property was impressive. However, the things that stood out for my wife and me were the more subtle things. The sheets were incredibly soft. The pillows were so soft; we purchased two. The breakfast, both days, was masterfully prepared. Finally, the hostess was extremely kind, and she gave my wife one of her recipes.

We loved our quiet room in the historic home. Rita and staff provide modern, updated bathrooms, wi-fi, and snacks and beverages to make you feel at home. Will definitely stay again when in Utica!

I adored this place! I stayed here for two nights and felt completely at home. I fell in love with the photos but they don't do this place justice. The room was spacious and comfortable and kept me very warm (as I am not used to the Utica cold!). The staff was wonderful and so welcoming. I loved how conveniently placed this B&B is placed too. Everything I wanted to do was a short drive away which was a big plus. I would definitely stay here again!
