While the hotel itself was lovely, we were charged 2 nights for valet parking despite being told the charge would be a single night (we planned to stay for a sports event). When I spoke with the manager of valet, Nicole, she told me that's too bad and she couldn't do anything to fix it. Unfortunately...we paid $90 for parking. I find the inconsistency in communication and unwillingness to address unacceptable.

It's a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk and in the lobby was very kind and welcoming.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful. The only negative thing is that our bill is inaccurate. There were 3 items that we did not incur that were in our bill. They need to resolve it.

First class accommodations with excellent location and good service. Beautiful room and nice common areas. Top marks on gym and pool. Checkin and valet were a little inefficient, but there were a lot of weddings and events that seemed to cut into regular stay customers that weekend

This property is beautiful! I remember staying here 7 years ago and I had a memorable stay. Since then, the property has transformed into a magnificent & modern space. The lobby was very welcoming and although it was busy during check-in, the staff efficiently helped each guest. The Starbucks on-site was an added bonus! I highly recommend this property if you’re staying in downtown Detroit.

The Westin has superior customer service from the valet to the registration staff. Our room was large and well appointed. Everything in the room looked new. The entire hotel is also extremely clean! We would highly recommend staying here.

Place was nice and friendly. Great customer service as well. The Valet staff was probably the best I have ever seen! Politely mannered, got your car in time and very helpful on walking directions within the city. They are the front line crew of the hotel. Please give them a raise ! They are wonderful!

It was the little things that were troublesome:bathroom sink clogged, stain on loveseat, minimal guest amenities. For the price, we were expecting a bit more.

Great hotel in a historic building. Location is ideal for enjoying the city, walking to Comerica Park. Westin’s Heavenly Beds are the best! My only concern was the poorly draining sink in the room.

The hotels is well located and a good facility (nice rooms but bathrooms a bit outdated).
Internet could not work on the entire morning I was there, and could not connect and overall poor 5g connection meant a loss business morning. Overall the hotel is overpriced, breakfast is charged extra and so parking (usd 45 per day).

Our stay was wonderful! I highly recommend this property when staying in Detroit. Staff was friendly, the room was nice, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. There is no construction, which I was worried about from previous reviews. It is conveniently located close to the ballpark and restaurants.

I'm from Metro Detroit and was gifted a weekend stay at the Book Cadillac. Upon arrival it is was difficult to find a bellman or some means to transport baggage even after I got to checkin. My room was nice and clean with a great view of the river. The next day I went to The Blvd room for breakfast and stood by door being passed by servers for 10 mins before I stop a server to assist me and my Mom.
Room service food was delicious and the server was nice . It was a pleasant stay but improvements can be made with guest services

Came here after my wedding and just not impressed. The hotel view was not great at all as I got a city view. The staff were great but the food quality was terrible. Would not return

It was a great stay...the only complaints is that the pillows could be upgraded..and maybe figure out the issue with the cable as the cable kept going out saying error no signal. Other that the room was clean and comfortable..shower was hot. Definitely will come back!!

Thank you very much for a wonderful evening at Westin Book Cadillac Hotel! Great friendly efficient service snd welcoming reception! Our room was beautiful clean and comfortable! The facilities fabulous! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Sullivan Restaurant and great coffee and cappuccinos from Starbucks all on the property. Great valet service with parking our car …everything was great. Thank you so much. We will be back and we have already recommended it to others!!

Thank you everyone for making mine and my wife stay beyond what I could have expected. The surprise I received with the upgraded room and redwing souvenir I was blown away, it was even better that the redwings won in such amazing fashion, but having the hotel walking distance from the stadium and even the lions stadium is such a wonderful convenience factor. The hotel is beautiful and accommodating. Their pool and fitness center is a bit underwhelming considering everything else is designed so well. Our stay was fabulous and will be back in the fall for a lions game!!

Everything about the hotel was good only thing it just didn't come with the microwave nor no refrigerator put your drinks into. And the breakfast is sky high I have to want to spend a little bit over $30 on my food and the juice is $7 itself for a small bottle so I'm thinking okay y'all overpriced with your food with your breakfast it wasn't for me the hotel and everything was nice and clean but if you don't have the money for this food you might as well just grab a doggy bag and keep your bag by the radiator to get warm
