The worst experience ever. They completely ruined my vacation. Hours wasted standing at the front desk because these people are frauds. No wifi. Beds as hard a rock and we never could get a decent nights rest. There is no sound insulation so you hear everything next to you and on the street. Everything smells like an ashtray. We felt sick and gross the whole time because it is unclean. Staff was hostile, aggressive, and blatantly lied. They entered our room when the do not disturb sign was up. They harassed us and called our room in the middle of the night but would hang up. They essentially tried to make us so miserable that we had no choice but to leave early. They promised to issue a refund. That is why I checked out early and why they gave me a receipt for the amount to be refunded. That was the agreement but as soon as we left they changed their story. I have physical proof they would issue a refund but once we checked out they lied to Expedia. They lied to me, tried to charge me extra, bullied me, made us feel completely uncomfortable during our time there. The whole time they were telling me that they wanted to offer me a refund but that Expedia would not allow them to do so. They have been lying the whole time. They have lies listed amongst their amenities. They are not to be trusted. The manager hid for hours whenI went back to check on my refund. Expedia should drop them. Also the food is disgusting. We ate there after check in and got sick.

GREAT place to stay in Alexandria. The Plaza Hotel offers beautiful views of the sea, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and Gleem Bay is walkable. Overall, I had a lovely, comfortable stay here and would return.

I like everything in Plaza hotel it's clean, near for shopping mall, nice view and friendly staff specially Mrs.Nermin.I will like to stay here next time.

During a short trip with family to Alexandria City, we selected plaza hotel to book 3 rooms for 2 nights. The Hotel location is good and there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms are small but clean and comfort with side sea view. Breakfast is just Okay with limited varieties. Car Parking is 50 meters away from the hotel in the same street with almost EGP35 per night. Staff are friendly and helpful. The overall stay was very good and we will book the hotel again for our future short trips to Alexandria.

The receptionist had a problem to find our reservations. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes in the reception. Seems that he was not familiar with the Hotels.com interface. A

you cant take your breakfast at your room even for a charge and the restaurant was too crowd but the chefs try to make it nicer, elevator was too busy 15 min for down to reception, WI fi steel weak

Only one good point in this hotel is customer service.All staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are not comfortable at all,beds are terrible. Was very dissapointed with the hotel overall. Breakfast wasnt tasty at all.

It’s location is superb. It has many bad things as: 1. The bathroom always have very bad smell. 2. No heated water although we are in winter. 3. The catering in the room is too poor that I didn’t find water bottles in my room and i had to ask for it, also only 2 tea bags 2 nescafe for whole 2 person/night. 4. When I asked for slippers, I found that the slippers they brought me were torn down!! 5. The breakfast buffet had very limited choices and many things tasted bad as if they were old not fresh.

Im happy with my 3 nights stayiny in Plaza hotel.- cleaning is very good- room service is very fast and helpful- breakfast is very good and many options there- the cost is not too much- the net work is too slow & the wifi as well. - the hotel parking is small overall, everything was good. highly recommended

Idid not like the property room is small and bad smile came from The foyer Also room was booked with breakfast when I arrived they said no breakfast I have to pay to go the beach which was not explained in the web The set on the web completely different than in the hotel I will not recommend to any one of my friends and when I asked to leave therefuce

Very good location near San Stifano Mall. Hotel is clean and room cleanliness is acceptable. Views from a sea view room are beautiful. Try to get a room 8th floor or above to reduce road noise. On the negative side the management is very old fashioned so expect some non sense. Breakfast is low in choice and quality but the nearby mall offers some choices.

The air condition was not functioning well and it is mainly controlled by the hotel not that the control is from the room itself!!

Not sure why this only has 3.5 stars - the hotel is old, yes, but it is well maintained and in a great area. The price is very reasonable and the service is great. The breakfast is just ok, but you do have a nice selection and (most importantly) a help yourself coffee machine. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

WiFi did not work in the room. The staff gave us the run around. 3 nights in and it was never fixed. It was a major inconvenience since It affected my ability to work on the go.The morning shift front desk staff was unprofessional. However the night shift staff were on top of it. Overall a good experience
