Over all property was lovely ,beautiful views, friendly staff. Would have prefered a room not upstairs!.

Hotel was well presented, staff always friendly and helpful. Adjacent to a beautiful part of the beach.. The hotel is under the flight path, but in no way did it detract from the experience. This was our 4th time in Samui and would easily stay at this hotel again.

Everything was great lovely traditional setting. Staff very attentive and helpful, room very spacious clean with private balcony you could smoke on. Right on the beach, would recommend this to friends

This is a good hotel which is well located on Chaweng beach with a great beach area.The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant food is good.The rooms are a fair size but we found the bed very firm and uncomfortable.

Big clean room.the breakfastbuffe is one of the best i ever have.the place is on the beach Wery clean beach and wery serviceminded staff

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, both at breakfast and around the hotel.

The property was fantastic. It was located close to the pool and the beach and also the bars and restaurants.

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff. Room facilities are basic. Bathroom drainage issues, tap was stiff to work. Would like to see smoking banned or restricted to areas where is can't drift on to others. We had to relocated our sitting several times (including during breakfast).

Great hotel location- the very heart of Chaweng Beach.Beautiful jungle meets the sea garden setting. Very attentive staff. Nice, clean room and property. We dined on the beach at the hotel restaurant- Lalavadee. It was so good that we decided to spend the next day at this hotel. Excellent!

The staff are very helpful especially Waew. She helps us to arrange our itinerary during our stay. The safe was not working and they swiftly change our room. They give a birthday surprise by decorating our bed with flowers and a small birthday gift. Wonderful. The resort is right in the center of chaweng beach road. Accessible to shops, food and clubs. All walking distance. Love the resort.

During the last three years I have been at in several hotels at the Chaweng beach- Kho Samui, the Baan Chaweng is my best choice, authentic facility, the best rooms clean secured and the best staff with excellent customer service. I am defiantly recommend on the Baan Chaweng spa and resort.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Resort itself was very clean and in a great location right on the beach. The location was also very easy to walk from to other restaurants, shopping and bars in Chaweng Beach area.

The impression is that the hotel really doesn’t care about their guests. The room was big but in poor condition. Walls are painted a drab green and all walls are dirty. The furnishings are well worn and in poor repair. The double bed was two single beds shoved together, also blocking the electric outlet, and with a single nightstand to the side with a dilapidated lamp. The mattresses are very firm like a board. The room was next to the rear of the adjoining property’s service area. At check-out, when requesting a taxi, I requested they check the rate before confirming, they refused to check the rate and when the taxi arrived the driver wanted an absurd rate. When I refused the rate, the driver left. When I asked the front desk to call another taxi the rude woman at the desk refused saying she already did her job, it is my problem. I walked down the drive in the pouring rain to the taxi stand at the driveway entrance - where the first taco cane from. The first taxi quoted a rate 1/3 lower, and while high, more reasonable.

Looking for a place to re-charge your batteries this is the place to go. Clean and very pretty well kept gardens. Friendly staff and great food. Fabulous breakfast buffet.

Was booked for 3 nights st Baan Chaweng but needed to postpone my first night’s stay so asked the Thai staff at the hotel I was staying at to call and tell them I’d check in a day later and didn’t mind paying for that first night’s stay I’d miss. There was no problem with that request till the male reservation staff (the manager?) suddenly took the call from the female staff asking for more info at which time I was called to the phone...I was more than annoyed at how he was literally silent when I took the call and said do you need the info again and asked angrily why on earth do I have to repeat the info to him again and then he became defensive and said he didn’t ask to speak to me. Then I knew this guy was playing some ego-feeding mind games and I just ended the call and wound up extending my stay in Lamai rather than stay at a hotel where an arrogant guy like him is allowed to work. I know he’s just a rotten apple in the barrel because I inspected a room there last year to see if I’d like to stay there on my next trip and the staff there were more than accommodating and customer service oriented. They just need to give this rotting apple some CS training or else he’ll turn off and anger even more guests.
