The apartment we booked was to have self contained features. On arrival we found the cook top removed from the bench top and covered with glass along with the missing range hood, not one piece of cutlery in the drawers, nothing to cook with what so ever. Not even a microwave. The only meal we could make was noodles. A jug 2cups for coffee and 2 glasses was all that existed . The result was eating out every meal. Other couples stayed in another complex with the works. No compromise when we spoke with front desk so we Just put up with it for 12 days as we were out each day. Nice pool and house staff were friendly. And the hot water was not turned on until the 3rd day. The grease trap under the sink was a bit off at times but that is common it seems here.

It was 34 degrees outside and we'd given the room back at 12, but we're leaving at 4 for a 16 hour flight home. The hotel seemed half empty and will under capacity but we couldn't under any circumstance use a private shower. We could use the pool shower which was completely open and right in front of other guests balconies, with no changing facilities. Poor service and unnecessarily mean in my opinion.

This is great place,but there is no Wi-Fi,the password they gave works, but they have no IP address so you can connect.

This is the first review i have ever given. Just could not be bothered. However i have had very helpful information from review made by otters so i Would like to contribute to it. This hotel looked like a new building, but was badly built with horrible furnitures that Fall apart. The worst was the bed. It was hard as stone and made for a horrible night.

Very nice condominium.Flat very clean and spacious.cleaning service is excellent.Nice restaurant ( belongs to same owner) 2mn walk away, Thai and continental food for a great price and very good service.I certainly will come again.

Located near old Phuket town, there's no lack of food to try nearby. Weekend market is also only a 20 min walk. Most taxis will know where the place is as well.

Very comfortable and deluxe hotel but low cost. It is no doubt I would recommend to my friends.

Stayed for 4 nights/5 days. The shower had a little mold in the corner, the couch was gross to me w/bumerous stains-I didn't even sit on it, but I was t there to watch tv. Not close to the beach, it was abt a 30 min ride to Patong beach (600 baht)-which I was fine w/bc I knew it was off the beaten track. It was a last minute booking for me due to travel delays & issues, so I researched quickly, but only paid $24 USD a night. Get a room poolside bc wifi is not in the rooms, only the common areas. My room on the 2nd floor got wifi everywhere due to the location.

This is a clean, new, modern and well equipped hotel. I had the pleasure of spending two weeks in a deluxe suite with a small private terrace and lawn, opposite the large swimming pool. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and available 24/7. I believe breakfast is included and free of charge for all guests, but it is extremely basic. There is ample covered and secure parking. The gym contains only fitness training equipment - no weights. There is a very nice, clean and cheap restaurant within walking distance called Riceberry, which I highly recommend. There are also several fresh fruit stalls within the vicinity. The hotel is a long drive from Patong (the main tourist area), yet close to other attractions such as Central Festival mall and Phuket Town. My only complaint is that swimming pool was not heated in the evening, and was unusable as a result. Although, many other guests did not find this to be a problem. Overall, staying at this hotel was a great experience.

Sugar Palm Residence was well-situated; out of the madness of Phuket Town but within easy walking distance. It was clean and well-kept. The staff were helpful and let us check in early. Overall this was a pleasant experience and recommend it to anyone thinking of traveling to Phuket.

Palm hotel was not even a hotel. It was an apartment sitting in the center of Phuket. Not in the tourist area but easy access to the major attractions. The room had a small kitchen, one room, and a tv area with a couch. The other floors are for full time residents of the Palm. WIFI is only available in the lobby area. The pool is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. The free breakfast was okay.

First off, the owner Mr. Wah is amazing! The first day at the hotel we were about to catch a taxi when what was an employee offered us a ride. He drove us down to Kata Beach, all the way talking to us about what to see and little tips. On arrival we wanted to pay but he refused to accept any money. The next day,and the next,and the next whenever he saw us he would ask what we were doing and if we wanted a ride anywhere, it was only after we found out he is the owner of both The Sugar Palm, and The Sugar Palm Grand as well as other establishments. He truly went out of his way everyday for us, and we genuinely felt this is because he is so nice and really wanted to help us out. The rest of the staff is exceptionally nice as well. The hotel is close to downtown Phuket not the beaches, but they are easily reachable buy taxi. The hotel is very new and clean and we loved the infinity pool. At the price point it is at we were really happy and extended our stay from 2 days to 6 and are going back again soon. The area around the hotel has a lot of hidden treasures to explore(like the huge park and river across the street where hundreds of locals come at night to walk,run, and workout). We really felt at home at this condo/hotel Very impressed!
