Good hotel

The overall grounds were pretty and in good conditions. But: Food: average to bad in all the options they have, specially in the waterpark food was horrible. Room: I booked a more expensive swim up flat suite and it was very deteriorated, expected to be cleaner and the bathtub and shower had mold. Transportation: not that available, specially at night when kids are tired and do not want to walk. Overall I would not recommend and even more considering the price.

Service was poor due to understaffing. Dining options were very limited and if you did not arrive by 6 PM you were out of luck and had to go to the buffet. The food at the buffet was horrible and very limited. Air conditioners didn’t work in several of the dining areas. When the issues were brought up to staff, they got defensive and minimize the issues and never addressed them. Hotel is not worth the price.

I love the fact that staff was amazing especially Orlando he’s located by the beach Area, took good care of me and my family amazing service… will definitely visit again with the family just for simple if facts that Oralando made our stay amazing… what I didn’t like is the wait at the Resturants, not a good experience…

I found one of the bartenders by the waterpark to be quite hostile and rude. I actually formed the impression he is racist as I saw his interaction on both occasions he served me with other persons - caucasians and latinos - and he came across as polite. He would shout at me and he made me a pina colada that tasted nothing like a pina colada and I actually fell ill afterwards. However, I otherwise found the staff helpful and the experience for my daughter and I was wonderful. Even though I had a repeated experience with the said bartender, we do plan on vacationing there again and we have been recommending the property to others.

I stayed at Punta Cana Nickelodeon hotel from August 17th-24th and I had no running water 3 different times during my stay. The front desk would not answer my phone calls, a so I had to use my cell phone to call Karisma and have them call the front desk to help me! I was charged $43 on my phone due to this. My room was not cleaned for days, until I called and asked. MY mini bar was never restocked until again I asked. I ordered room service so I can put my son to sleep for nap time. Room service took over 2 hours to come, my son never went to sleep because he was hungry. I ordered again another day, because again NAP time! This is a family resort they must understand children take naps. The food this time took 1.5 hours. There was no one to help, we were assigned a concierge whose only concern was us doing some presentation. He never asked, he just said to me one day "so tomorrow you are doing the presentation right"? and I said I don't know what you are talking about. Then he proceeded to say oh come on, can't you help me out. Like I'm sorry I have a 3-year-old, and I didn't come on vacation to "help you out". After that he didn't provide any help for the rest of our stay. I asked about my resort credit 2x on check-in, and they said it was just a percentage off random thing. When I checked out, they said oh didn't anyone give you the list. Here is it! Insane! So, I missed out on a resort credit I was able to use.

Our family enjoyed our time at the Nickelodeon resort in Punta Cana.

I usually dont write reviews but i strongly feel the need to write about this resort!! For the cost per day i would expect much much better. I travelled to punta Cana yearly and stayed at resorts much cheaper and had a way better experience then Nickelodeon!!!!!!!!First the resort itself is very "BEAUTIFUL" the service for the buffet was absolutely "HORRIBLE " no AC and u literally have to chase the waiters down for a beverage ,breakfast & dinner food was way below average and im no picky eater...the restaurants that cost extra was so over priced per person it makes Beverly Hills restaurant prices cheap!! I know its a family place BUT FYI if ur a drinker this place not for u hard to find a CONVENIENT BAR ANYWHERE and when u do be prepared to wait for that watered down drink and thats after tipping good FYI!!!!!!! I was very generous on the three star review only because the resort was absolutely beautiful.. im just very disappointed on service an food...

Perfect for kids.

Ok property, however breakfast is in one place and it’s over 100 degrees in there. No AC, no fans made breakfast a tough one. Pools, slides overall was great! Friday beach party was also good but a few of us got sick from the food that night. It’s a hit or miss but great for the kids for sure. The gift shops charge $65 USD for a three dollar stuffed animal from Walmart.

It was disappointing that the only slides available were for the kiddie pool. My 9yr old who is the size of a 12yr old couldn’t enjoy the water park

It’s a nice place for kids. We went on August and inside the Buffett Restaurant it was very hot.

Worst customer service ever!! We arrived on Thursday our shower didn’t work they sent 3 different people who all said let me check the pressure outside and never returned!!! It took them 2 days to finally get it fixed!! My daughter got so sick we had to take her to urgent care, then my other daughter and husband got sick as well, nauseous, throwing up, stomach aches. Couldn’t make reservations anywhere.. To top it off we had paid for round trip transportation on Expedia and we were to be at the lobby at 11:30 AM and our driver was waiting for us there since 11 we were never told he was there and they never told him we were there. After waiting in the lobby until 12:15 I called the transportation and they confirmed he was there. I asked security have you seen him and they pretty much we’re like no no no and then I see one van driveway because they told him that we weren’t there, but he was waiting for us and luckily we were able to get them back. It was all the Nickelodeon employees trying to push for a taxi since they get a kick back!! I even messaged the GM Maria but she never responded. There is so much more, like running out of towels at the pool, and tell you to come early the next time. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience!!!!!!

Before arrival they asked about my nutrition needs, I loved that. But at the property I didn’t found enough options.

Checking in took 2 hours. they only had 3 open counters and at least a 30 people checking in the lobby. This resort need updates, lot of broken things in the room - shower, ac, safe, phone, we made multiple attempts to get them to fix them, but no one showed up. AC did not cool things, we had it set to 20 degrees and it never went down from 25 degrees. our mini bar was not refilled for 3 days not even water. Room service took 1.5hr at least and missed several things we ordered. Service was very slow and almost non existent around the pool areas, no one will come to ask you for drinks. Also they RAN OUT of Alcohol at the pools more than a few times. Park and beach closes at 6pm. so if you want to stay in the pool after that, you have to get those swim up suits. Food is TERRIBLE. service will not even come up to ask you for drinks, we had to go up to them and ask for drinks. Personal concierge did not help at all. the shows were average. We have seen much better and exciting shows in Cancun and cruises. At checkout, you have to wait in the same line as people checking in just to return your access bracelets, which makes no sense. Overall this resort is over rated, and insta influencers and reviewers are straight up lying to you. Please don't believe them and waste your hard earned money. Take it to ANY resort in cancun and you will have a much better experience.

I want to be very clear that my three children (9 girl, 7 boy, 4 girl) loved this vacation, which was our ultimate goal. However, there was much lacking. I will elaborate below. Room: We stayed in a private plunge pool suite for 7 days. The rooms are small and even though they are stated for 5 people, expect to feel tight in the room with 5. There is one king bed and one pull out couch. There would be no room to walk around if you added a cot. Storage is great. There was room for 5 pieces of luggage and all clothes that we brought. There is also a lockable entryway where we kept our pool and beach toys that we brought along. The bathroom was very large with a stand alone tub and walk in shower, two sinks, and private toilet area. The bathroom is well appointed, but has become dated. Not anything awful here, but for the price, would expect more. Food/Drink: According to the menus, there are options for all to find something they will enjoy. In reality, the bars and restaurants were without items every single time you visited. Things as simple as coke and sprite. Even for the kids to order a drink was very difficult. This was not an isolated issue and was our biggest complaint of the trip. A staff member that was very helpful during our stay admitted that they cannot handle the occupancy that they allowed while we were there. This is unacceptable for management. We traveled Aug 17-24, which is busy time, but management should not allow more guests than can be accommodated.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. Like any resort, tipping tends to increase the quality of a server's mood and helpfulness. The food was great at the beginning of our stay but declined somewhat by the 6th and 7th days of our stay. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay despite some minor inconveniences.

We Love this Resort because it a home away from home, the all inclusive package was the best thing that could have happened to us, believe it or not, it takes off so much stress of handling money paying everytime you order something to eat or drink. I recommend this Resort to everyone and their family. The Staff and employees are amazingly friendly and professional.
