This property was perfect for us as we wanted to be close to the MD Anderson facility. The amenities are very nice. Great pool, patio, bbq grills, hot tub and a pool table. Apartment was furnished nicely. Kitchen only had 2 plates, 2 bowls and 2 salad plates. No serving bowls. Would be nice to have more place setting/ serving bowls. Glad to have a Washer and Dryer in the unit. Contact with booking staff was excellent and they responded to emails very quickly. I highly recommend this property.

Well for starters this was supposed to be a wonderful trip that I booked for my fiance's birthday.. I had specifically ordered an apartment with a balcony up off the ground and what did I get? Even though I set it up over a month and a half prior to? They put me in a filthy terrace level patio that had huge water bugs/roaches... The toilet had running water especially during "quiet time" it would be the worst kept running every 10 to 15 minutes loudly through the night and all day long We wanted to relax with the blinds open but wasn't able to do that because of the ground level patio was on the same as the swimming pool the trash room and everything else was I reached out via text and the response was great at first quick but really didn't really care about the fact that I had specifically asked for for things to be special over a month before and I spoke with someone that said we would be accommodated and we weren't it was truly disappointing I will definitely not stay here again

Be careful with Locale. They didn’t respect our booking, blaming Expedia for double booking. The people at the call center is rude, unhelpful and they don’t bother to give a solution. We found out at the check in and had to find a place to stay.

All around good stay

I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. The nice amenities. My favorite part was the pool and the gym. However, there’s not a lot of restaurants that are within walking distance. I would definitely stay again.

A Disastrous Start to Our Vacation Upon arrival at Locale, our excitement quickly turned into frustration and disbelief. After a long journey, we were greeted with the shocking news that there were no keys available for us. The locker was open and empty where they kept keys for guests. Despite having made our reservation well in advance, the staff seemed unprepared and disorganized, leaving us stranded without a room. What made the situation worse was the lack of empathy or assistance from the property management. Instead of offering a solution, we were bluntly told to look for other accommodations, which left us feeling abandoned and stressed at the start of our supposed vacation. The experience was not only inconvenient but also incredibly disappointing. It's unacceptable for guests to arrive only to find out they have nowhere to stay, especially without prior notification. This lack of professionalism and customer service has completely turned me off from ever booking with Locale Medical Center Houston again. For those considering staying here, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The risk of having your travel plans thrown into chaos is too high. There are plenty of other properties that value their guests and understand the importance of reliable service.

This is my second time staying with The Locale.. I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean , and it was peaceful in a great location. I highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back

We liked everything about this property! Clean & comfortable. Great clubhouse & pool area. Really nice people & safe area for walking. If you’re visiting the medical center it is very easy & inexpensive to take an Uber. Uber is much easier than parking in that area.

The apartment we were in had no TV in the bedroom, which, whatever, but it seemed odd for such a nice place. Hallway lights were motion-sensor and several were out, so it was really dark. The bathroom lights in the unit were working for 1/3 of the available lights. A closet door was broken. However, it was clean, albeit a little janky, the view was pretty good, the people in the lobby were friendly, as were the residents. The building and its pool/jacuzzi/deck area was nice, but we were never given instructions on how to access that. It seems like they are advertising it, but then don't really give you the door codes - maybe, unless you ask directly? I would stay there again, I suppose, but would love access to all amenities.

Great stay! Clean, spacious, conveniently located, very secure all at a very reasonable price.

Several steps to contactless check in but none overly complicated, more just use common sense and follow the steps they send via text. Parking was on site in deck, secured by large doors and requiring fob to enter so felt secure. We did not use amenities onsite but looked around and they seemed clean and inviting: Actual unit had VERY firm mattress which we found very uncomfortable but recognize this is a preference. A TV in the bedroom would be an inexpensive upgrade with great value added. Carpet in bedroom appeared worn and not the cleanest, bathroom floor grout could use a steaming and the shower curtain was a disaster (wouldn’t stay on hooks) but nothing so bad that we wouldn’t stay again if in the area. We arrived late and only food option was a McDonalds a mile or two away. In the daytime there is much more available, plenty of variety. As it is in the area of many hospitals there were sirens many times but area felt safe. Several reviews said walking distance to MDA or TX Children’s but I think that would depend on destination and weather—definitely too hot in June and August when we visited for a lengthy stroll. All in all, we’ll definitely have this property on our list for return visits.
