This recent visit, with 7 friends was great! Tons of activities and entertainment that were all optional of course, but all very enjoyable. Including but not limited to things like outdoor parties right outside of the main lobby, a foam party at the main pool, and a cigar class. The only activity we didn't really enjoy was the magic show. Quite possibly the worst magic I've ever seen. Sadly not an exaggeration. Anyway, there were great drinks to be found just about everywhere, including in the amazing little coffee shop! The coffee shop was easily my most visited place during our visit. Though there were a bunch of restaurants (sports bar, Italian, French, hibachi, Mexican, Mediterranean, 24hr room service etc) the food was VERY subpar 80% of the time. Italian and the food service at the main pool were the favorites among my group. Tons of pool options. The main pool with swim up bar and activities, along with other, smaller pools with quieter more chill vibes. The main pool also has super easy beach access. The property is beautiful and kept very clean along with well kempt landscaping. There are other random accomodations (getting room service to change the aromatherapy of your room or requesting different type of pillows with different functions) as well. Room cleaning along with turndown service was great! Not all laundry was 100% white. Found more than one stained (though washed) towel or washcloth.
Live Aqua is young. Live Aqua is good. Give them time to become GREAT!

I had an amazing time here, the staff was wonderful the room did have a funny smell and the showers are kind of faulty as well as the sinks, but besides that everything else was a 10/10 i recommend, very relaxing and the spa gave me my own birthday cake! I absolutely had an amazing time.

The staff showed so much love and hospitality! The resirt was beautiful and clean! Went above and beyond to make my birthday AMAZING! The food was not great but my stay was a 9/10! I will definitely be back.

10/5 stars!!!! One of the best Luxury experiences I have had at an all inclusive resort! From the moment you walk into the resort, the beautiful and luxe aroma lets you know that this is a 5 star resort! The lobby is BEAUTIFUL! The VIP lounge, the drinks, the HAND MASSAGE! The food was incredible at EVERY single restaurant! The buffet had fresh options and tasty offerings for breakfast and lunch. There were so many activities to do on the resort. We didn’t leave the resort once! But let’s talk about the staff!! Our butler IVAN! He was incredible! He went above and beyond for us! We didn’t have to ask for much because he was always 5 steps ahead of us. When we did ask for something, he would come through way beyond our expectations! This will be the resort we return to each time we visit DR. My best friends and I have already began to plan a girls trip here for next summer!

My wife and I, loved everything. Our concierge Smerlyn made everything possible, he is the best of the best. Hosts Jesus was amazing, energetic funny as hell always making me laugh. Hosts Jose was great too, they both together was a power house of comedy. My two favorite waiters were Yoangel and Rosa talk about attention to detail and go out of the way to make your dinning experience great.

Loved quiet, adult-only property. Loved having availability of swim-up pool from my room. There are an adequate number of restaurants and availability of foods. There are numerous pools and they were never crowded. There was always pool and beach lounge chairs available throughout the day. There were no cats prowling around and begging for food. The people selling things on the beach was strictly controlled by the resort staff. It’s a very calm and relaxing resort. There are fun nighttime activities and daytime activities like water games, yoga, water aerobics, mixology classes, etc.

Overall the resort is very nice, staff is very welcoming and personable. To get into the negatives, our bed and sheets were never fully dry, even when house keeping changed them. There was a weird smell in the room, almost like mold, and we think it was coming from the bed. Out of 8 spots you can eat from, only 5 locations were actually worth going to. Italian, French, and the sports bar are not on that list. Lastly, they target couples to join their membership through the "Welcome breakfast" and expects you to pay 2 grand for the membership downpayment at the end of the presentation. For positives, you're welcomed with auto doors and hit with a great scent when stepping in, including welcome drinks. The rooms are intimate and clean, the pools are at a comfortable temp so you're never cold or hot at all. The spa is nice, especially with the hydrotherapy. The entertainment is top notch if you're one to have a good time. Just remember, that this is not a party resort, but the drinks are good. Although the resort is small for now(they're currently adding a family side), its a great place for couples to unwind and enjoy themselves.

My partner and I were looking forward to this given that it had good pictures and review. First thing we noticed in the room was the humidity smell, it was HORRIBLE and never left. We called front desk 3-4 times to tell them. Not only that, the shower FLOODED our bathroom and reached the bed area. AC was hot, even at the lowest temperature of 60 F, the bed was always wet due to the humidity, floors were damped. Jacuzzi was a mess. Overall do not recommend or if you do make sure to ask for a room change. Because even after raising our concerns they didn’t even offer to change rooms just a guy coming in the room and spraying something which later was taken by the humidity smell.
The only good thing we can say was the pool bar, the coffee place, and the italian restaurant.

I love the scenery and the foam party, every night they had fun entertainment for their guests , which I really enjoy. I didn’t really enjoy the beach, there was so much seaweeds everywhere, and the beach was small. I was expecting a bigger clean beach.
The breakfast and lunch buffet was amazing!! I wish they also had dinner buffet. One of the restaurants ( Seishin) serve me an uncooked dish. We ordered( dumplings) and it wasn’t cooked all the way, the pork meat inside was still raw. But over everything was good.

Love the property my first time and will not be my last. I want to bring the family to the new resort next year once it’s opens. The staff was awesome from the waiters, room service, or front desk very helpful and friendly. Bartender Hellen, front desk Alejandro and Fransisco to name a few but there’s too many to name very good people

CHEF PABLO, EXCELLENT SERVICE AND THE HOSTESS IN THE BREAKFAST DINING AND LOBBY HOST. THE REST OF THE SERVICE TEAM NOT SO FRIENDLY. THE CLEANING TEAM TALKS LOUD ON THE HALLWAYS EARLY IN THE MORNING AND IT ECHOES INTO THE ROOMS.

The resort is calm and quiet but also fun when they have parties. 4 quiet pool areas and the main pool where you can party. The staff is great. Food selections are great. Next time i come back i will definitely get the room with the swim up pool.
