This recent visit, with 7 friends was great! Tons of activities and entertainment that were all optional of course, but all very enjoyable. Including but not limited to things like outdoor parties right outside of the main lobby, a foam party at the main pool, and a cigar class. The only activity we didn't really enjoy was the magic show. Quite possibly the worst magic I've ever seen. Sadly not an exaggeration. Anyway, there were great drinks to be found just about everywhere, including in the amazing little coffee shop! The coffee shop was easily my most visited place during our visit. Though there were a bunch of restaurants (sports bar, Italian, French, hibachi, Mexican, Mediterranean, 24hr room service etc) the food was VERY subpar 80% of the time. Italian and the food service at the main pool were the favorites among my group. Tons of pool options. The main pool with swim up bar and activities, along with other, smaller pools with quieter more chill vibes. The main pool also has super easy beach access. The property is beautiful and kept very clean along with well kempt landscaping. There are other random accomodations (getting room service to change the aromatherapy of your room or requesting different type of pillows with different functions) as well. Room cleaning along with turndown service was great! Not all laundry was 100% white. Found more than one stained (though washed) towel or washcloth.
Live Aqua is young. Live Aqua is good. Give them time to become GREAT!

They did not disclose that construction was going on next door. Very noisy everyday. LOTS of mosquitos in the room, it was gross. Room odor smelled damp / old, not fresh. Not happy with the conditions of this property for the money I spent. Truthfully I tried to ignore the conditions but it was hard to overlook.

We loved staying at Live Aqua! We had a room with a swim up and it was incredible! The only downside of this resort is the food wasn’t amazing.. it was good, but hoped for more options that were open throughout our stay, and better tasting food overall. We will be back! 12/10 recommend!

We paid for Aqua club services and we never met the butler. The food is ok. Drinks are ok too. My experience was trash!

We arrive early check in was at 3:00 we did not check in until 5:30. Upon checking into the room our sheets had blood on them so we had to wait until they clean the room again. The next day we notice the room was dusty and the smell of concrete, it was noisy from the construction.. My husband went to check we were the only guest on the floor we were really disappointed in our accommodations. We were celebrating our anniversary. Needless to say we did not let this ruined our time in Punta Cana

My mother and I were staying here for my birthday and the staff made sure we both had the best VIP experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed the swim up pool connected to our room . The drinks were delicious but the food was just ok other than that I will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel is very beautiful, the only thing I didnt like is the food, I think they should work on that. The only restaurant I liked was the french restaurant food was delicious there.

Nice place for an adult couple looking for a safe and quiet vacation. Food was good but not excellent, some staff in morning buffet do not pay attention of your refills as others, and some staff in night restaurants treat you based on your room key band color you have in your wrist.

The butler, bartenders and the VIP beach servers were fantastic. The room service menu was lack luster and the restaurant food was not good. If you get to anyone of the restaurants at 9:00p or 9:30p they were out of the main entrees on the menu. The housekeeping staff is extremely loud in the hallways in the afternoons. There was construction going on next door to the property. The last 3 days of our stay maintenance was renovating the room above and across the hall from ours. The banging was constant all day and very late into the night.

I want to say Brenda in the cafe was amazing and Angela in house keeping was amazing the whole staff in the buffet area was amazing… they had a host their I think his/ her name was Red in the beginning it was nice then after words he/she walk passed you as if they didn’t know you I say hello no response…Also the music that they play needs to be good for all races I know we where in a Dominican country however I was kind of tired of hearing the Dominican music all the time the night shows was amazing it made my nights and the timing there good other than that it was ok I was there for my 50 birthday and we missed a day due to the airport and the resort did no accommodations which was odd I expected more but it is what it was

I had an amazing time here, the staff was wonderful the room did have a funny smell and the showers are kind of faulty as well as the sinks, but besides that everything else was a 10/10 i recommend, very relaxing and the spa gave me my own birthday cake! I absolutely had an amazing time.
