It was my first time at this hotel. I was a little worried if the area was secluded since it's a distance from the popular shopping areas in JB. But to my surprise, the area was bustling with activities at night so I felt safe.
The bed was amazing. I had great sleep for the two nights I was there. The room and bathroom were very clean too. And the beddings didn't smell of strong bleach or detergent which was wonderful for me.
Good quality shower gel, shampoo and lotion. I love the body lotion. It was not greasy at all. So I bought one bottle from them when I checked out.
I also managed to park near the hotel at the street parking. No complaints.

Reception and housekeeping personnel were friendly and kind. Service was very satisfactory. The room though small was still comfortable and had all the required amenities. Only grouse I had was the strong smell of bleach when I entered my room. It lingered throughout my stay and even airing the room did not help.
Hope the hotel management will relook the choice of their cleaning tools/practice and improve on the issue.

Room is too small w platform bed. The brick walls don’t seem clean and there’s mozzies in the room. Suggest to replace the refillable water flask whereby we can better wash the flask before using.
Our group with a separate booking (similar pricing) has a bigger room with normal bed frame.
Disappointed we didn’t get the same type of room for all of us on the same level.
Water pressure is good and like the shower gel and shampoo.
Water cooler for cold water is cold(nice) unlike some other properties.

Took the Junior Suite. Comes with a bathtub. Room is clean and simple yet comfortable. Good for a nite stay or two. 7-11 and other food outlets just across the road.

Everything was perfect for a 3 star hotel & i absolutely love the toiletries & deco BUT their wifi was kinda slow & hence tis is only the downside

Considerably clean.
Bed is comfortable, with good WiFi connectivity.
Pantry has coffee, tea and some snacks for hotel guests.
Plenty of FnB around the area within walking distance.
RM50 / SGD20 cash will be required for deposit upon check in.
Booking via Hotels.com is slightly higher priced than walk in price. I felt shortchanged.

The hotel and room are uniquely design - there are cozy areas at the lobby and room is modern - although small its just good enough for a short stay.

It was cute , aesthetic, quiet and comfortable. Great location, lots of nice local food to explore around the area. If you need some me time for a day without breaking the bank, definitely worth checking this place out.

We booked a suite which comes with 1 king bed and one single bed, but room feels quite small. Not much bigger than a regular hotel room. Not enough power points. Only 2 were installed next to the TV. There are no power points next to the bed. Toilet has a bathtub but there's no curtain so water will get splashed onto the toilet bowl and floor. Small vanity. No space for toiletries. We were only given bath towels, and not hand towel. No bottled.water as hotel is an eco-friendly hotel hence guests are provided with aluminium water bottle to refill water from dispenser machine at the foyer.

Overall good. Clean and comfortable.
We booked for 3 adults, the 2 beds were super single, so 2 of us had to get very cosy in one bed, good thing we were of slimmer build. It would be very tight for 2 bigger size people.

Second stay in this hotel during CNY. The condition is still good. Just that this time a bit dusty. Overall still a good stay.

Though just a bit far from places like city square and KSL....there was no problem in getting around as it was easy to call for grab service....there is a 7-11 just a few doors away from the hotel....in the morning there were plenty of breakfast options just opposite the hotel which tasted not bad.....hotel cleanliness was within acceptable....basic amenities such as toothbrush... toothpaste.... shampoo and body wash are provided.....

Hotel was easy to find, nice ambience but walls quite thin so could hear a lot of noise from outside and in the corridor. Cement wall in shower was mouldy

Food places around the hotel is not good. There’s a lot of dust accumulated behind the sofa and the idea of stepping of the bath tub to shower is not convenient. Hotel room is right beside a noisy traffic and walls are thin. You can know when your neighbours are exiting or entering the room

Very basic rooms, decent size. Clean-ish. The biggest issue is the karaoke bar next door. If you get a room next to it, be ready to be "entertained".

Easily accessible. As It is located next to a singing centre, the music lasted until last at night and can be nois during weekend. Comfortable bed and bathtub.

Small but easy to get to. Walkable for meals and buying stuff.
Problem was my booking is for 4pax with Expedia but hotel staff insisted that the room only has 3 beds. This is a big disconnect that created problem for us (4 persons checking in but only 3 beds)

The only setback was, the room bed combination is not what we booked for. We booked for two double beds and was given one double bed plus two single beds.
After checking with the receptionist if it’s possible to change, was informed that no more two double beds room is available.

Great for foodies as eateries (from hawker centers, coffee shops to restaurants) are within 5 to 10 mins walk from the hotel and there is a Pasar Malam on Tuesdays (about 20 mins walk) where at the end of it you will find a Taiwanese smelly tofu stall (though not as smelly as I would like it to be) which you can eat at the hotel garden to avoid stinking up the inside of the hotel

Cleanliness of the hotel is good. Location is convenient if you drive. But if u are a light sleeper think twice as the hotel sound proofing is not good can be easily disturbed by noises in the surrounding.

The property is situated in a lively town centre hub of Taman Perlangi. The hotel is clean and well kept. Everything seems to be working well. Around the area, there are plenty of coffee shops, cafes, pharmacies etc. Sp lots to see and do if you are a tourist and wish to experience local JB life. It is also close to the city centre so you are generally a short car ride away from major shopping malls, places of interests. We highly recommend this small boutique hotel if you are tired of staying in those large hotels in the city centre.

"Free parking" listed as one of its popular amenities, however the hotel doesn't have its own parking slots, and it's all payable public parking. In room, was not given toilet floor mat, no hand/face towel, towels were in bad conditions (has holes), same condition for the bedsheets as well. Location, great, plenty of amenities nearby.

I loved the modern vintage take in the design of hotel and the rooms. Esp the idea of having water dispenser at the corridor and refillable bottles for use!

The hotel is surprisingly clean as it is small hotel at Taman Pelangi. The sound proof can be improved if possible as people walking pass the room can be heard the steps. Overall it is pleasant stay. Will come back again next year CNY.

The property itself is nicely designed, clean, and cosy. Had issues with check-in and check-out service - staff not trained well. For instance, did not seem to understand security standards when I asked for my baggage to be stored at the hotel. I wasn’t given any assurance that they would tag my bags or keep them locked up safely. Wasn’t given a tag so they could identify that my bags indeed belonged to me either.
