There was a hiccup with the booking, but the staff took care of it.

I emailed a complain to the manager Victoria, and didn’t get any response from her yet that’s the reason I am writing this note to you. In my bed, I found long black hair, even though I am all blonde with gray hair. In the sink, I found Dirty leftover of green toothpaste and short black hair. This is additional complaint. I’m sharing with you which I think was not hospitable. At the front desk, people been very short did not even try to explain us where we can get the food on the premises. When we decided to buy a bottle of wine from the little shop, receptionist hand us a bottle of wine, and did not even offer glass. That was quite shocking that we had to drink wine straight out of bottle. We had two bedrooms, three people. We all worked in hospitality industry, and this was simply embarrassing to us. Sorry about this review, but since the manager never got back to us to knowledge the situation I had to tell somebody.

Terrible! I did not have a working toilet. I contacted/visited the front desk a total of 5 times about the broken toilet. Maintenance attempted to Fix it 3 times without success. They didn’t show up the other 2 times I requested it to be fixed. The shower drain was clogged and water was all over the floor. I used my towels to clean it up, and room service didn’t bring me new towels. I was left With 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth for 3 days. The Manager was never available or on duty to help me with my issues.

The beds were very comfortable. I loved the bathroom! The shower had great water pressure and the lighting in the bathroom was nice for putting my makeup on and doing my skincare. I liked that the parking deck was nearby so didn’t have to worry about finding a spot to park. Checking in and out was easy and the front desk people were very kind and helpful. I would definitely come here again.

Details were not clear with booking .Dirty towel found under the bed and finger prints noted all over fridge.No microwave in suite and they charged 20.00 a day for parking.We had to ask for extra linen for the pull out sofa bed.Pets were allowed but could not be left in the room to enjoy eating out etc.

Great location and friendly staff

Easiest check in that I have ever had. Spacious room, double queen. Pleasant staff. Arrived on 4th of July so it is busy in the area and the restaurant is only serving drinks. Pricey but for the location it is great.

The staff were wonderful - especially Raymond and Joshua The all-in-one washer and dryer needs to be replaced with separate washer and dryer units. Our clothes did not dry although we just had a small amount of clothing for each machine. Need to offer room service

A modern hotel in a historic setting. Loved the room, the rooftop bar and restaurant and the staff. Highly recommend!

Super convenient walkable location to downtown. The downstairs area had a great game area for socializing attached to the bar as well. Nice way to beat the heat. Rooms were comfortable though the doors are very heavy.

Absolutely love this chain hotel, always so beautiful inside and out. Staff was kind. I left my necklace behind and realized shortly after, I called and they had it put aside for me. Offered to ship it out but I was still close enough to swing back around.

I did not like the fact that my wife booked me a room that was supposed to have a king size bed and a balcony with a river view but instead I got a “suite” with 2 full size beds in it on the first floor with the view being the parking lot. I was told that I that I had the option to receive that room or a room facing the garbage compactor. I did not appreciate that at all. The guy at the counter was very nice but I did not receive what was paid for. Also I was charged an extra $172 which I had no knowledge of until I checked in. When my wife booked, she was never informed of this. This was my Father’s Day gift and it was not enjoyable at all. The bathroom shower also was dirty and water splashes everywhere with no shower door. And the curtain was dirty too. Overall the hotel decent and the front desk staff was nice. But I am not happy about not receiving what we paid for. And paying extra at check in

An attractive and modern hotel in the heart of downtown Wilmington, Aloft is within walking distance to amazing restaurants, shops, local dives, upscale bars and kicked back pubs where flips lops are recommended. The rooms were clean with a walk-in shower and all the amenities. The customer service however, is lacking hospitality! Service attendant was curt and unhelpful as well as the hotel receptionist. Must pay to park even in the hotels parking lot! But once you pay and park, you won’t need your vehicle again until check-out.

Parking was limited but Valet service was only $5 per day more than the self park option. Well worth the extra $5 tip. Restaurant and roof top bar were great. Scenic views of the river were beautiful. Room was clean with a great view of the river. Highly recommend this hotel.

When we went to check in the front desk, Operator was not available for almost 45 minutes and nobody could locate them then we were treated very rudely

Loved the hotel. Very modern. Rooftop bar really fun and great view. Parking was not the greatest, but there is a parking garage near by and seeing you have to pay $20 to pay in their lot, they will validate your parking in the garage.

Great staycation all around. Best spot downtown Wilmington.

As a solo female traveler arriving close to midnight, I could not find a parking spot in the main parking lot, leaving me no choice except to valet. I booked due to a late flight and not wanting to drive an hour home. I booked when I landed and they had 9 rooms but for some reason they put me in a room directly across the hall from an incident where 10 police officers are trying to escort a man off the property. I was exhausted after 12 hours of travel and just wanted to sleep. Sleeping was also impaired by the light coming in from the parking lot because the curtain would not extend all of the way down. For $269 a night plus $100 in taxes and parking, I won't use this hotel again for late flights.

My sons and I stayed at the Aloft for Mother’s Day weekend. Joshua was the reception on duty when we arrived, his customer service was phenomenal. Joshua truly exemplifies professionalism and he was extremely courteous. Gabby was the reception when we departed and she was extremely professional as well. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great location

We enjoyed the location. The variety of Restaurants, good scenery and excursions were all walkable. Buses were easy to get around. However, ubers stop at a certain time. Hotel manager & staff were nice & welcoming. Food at the 1st floor bar was yummy! Hotel was modern but cleaning of bathroom could be better. Views from hotel were awesome. Choose higher floors so you can see the riverfront. Cons- Hotel should inform you of cleaning policy in advance. We could not get a cleaner for 2 days. Also, there is no pool.😫
