Perfect stay for a group of 11 ladies. Communal kitchen, seating and kitchen area was lovely. The hot tub and outdoor area made it extra special. There are only 2 showers but this did not affect our enjoyable stay, just needed to be organised when dressing for an evening out.

The space is fantastic for big groups. It was well designed with fantastically clean bathrooms which were very comfortable. We did have some small minor issues with the cleanliness of items in the kitchen (e.g cutlery and plates etc) but nothing a quick wash couldn’t fix! The outside hot tub area is also well decorated, it’s just a shame it is quite far from the house (tucked away behind the stable and office buildings) and for us the amount of rain and mud on the grass area made enjoying this space a bit more restrictive. The beds were all comfortable and we had a fantastic amount of space for such a big group. Work was still being finished on the house (replacement of doors) but we were contacted in advance and told what to expect. Very good service from the communication side of things. Would stay again!

We were a group of 15 friends staying at The Stables for a weekend. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted: a lovely big dining table to seat us all, a comfy area with sofas, a hot tub, a big garden for activities and an indoor/outdoor room (good for March weather and far from neighbours). No complaints at all about the cleanliness, and the decor was great. All the bedrooms were spacious too, great for adults sharing. We ended up booking very last minute when our accommodation through a different agency fell through, and the team at York Boutique Lets were super responsive and supportive, answering any questions we had throughout the weekend. I’d recommend staying here if you’re a group of friends of families. Location wise it was easy to get to from York train station and York was easy to access for a morning in the city (25 min drive).

We rented both the luxury house and the barns The house was ideal for us with the big open plan living area, plenty of room for the children to play and adults to chat , cook and all with the children in view We found plenty of activities for the children but none were mentioned in the welcome booklet We would have welcomed information about the local area activities and places to eat, how to work the heating The house was very cold when we arrived eventually we worked out what to do and it warmed up Also there were about 15 remote controls no information as to what they worked or how The heating and hot water failed on the last night in the barns, very cold, reported but no help given The playground and outside area could not be used by the children as the grass was too long and there were weeds and nettles in the play ground We all enjoyed our stay and the area, the space and location were ideal for our needs

The stables house in york is a lovely place to stay, very spacious, not far from york, bedrooms are lovely and beds are comfy, the 2 out side houses are a great size ... with their own kitchen the only thing was the water pressure for the showers in these was not very good ... but usable...patio and parking area good size ... the hot tub and the other sitting area is a good area to chill and relax .. we had a Olympic shames afternoon and the big garden at the back of house was the perfect area for this.... I would recommend this place it is lovely... the team at york boutique lets where great .. very friendly very prompt no hassle at all. We asked if they could decorate the house before we arrived plus I brought some extras from them .. prosecco...ice... the house was decorated lovely x.. the prosecco was sat in a bowl of ice ...perfect....thank you ... I would recommend them and the house where we stayed ... thank you for everything you did for us xxxxx
