I was out in a handicapped room with two beds instead of the single king I booked. Even after I asked to keep my original reservation the front desk refused to change my room back. There was construction happening in the pool so it was very loud all day and not relaxing at all. In order to use the pool we had to walk to another hotel but it was raining my entire stay so that was off the table. There was poop on the carpet right in front of the elevators that stayed there for a while day even after being reported.

Nice renovations since last time at the hotel. A very pleasant experience. We will be back!

No parking available on site. Had to get ice from the lobby level. No ice machine on any floors.

Hotel is at the top of Waikīkī which was recommended to us by a Hawaiian friend, it’s away from the hustle and bustle. The service wa lovely, we got an hour extra late check in which suited our needs. Rooms were generous spacing. Had breakfast at the Deck restaurant which was lovely.

Supper location and great layout.

The property is older but very clean. The room was large, but we were not able to get the king size bed we booked ended up with 2 queens unnecessarily. But it was fine. The pool area is very old and tethered, the turfing is very worn as well as the lounge chairs and the pool has cracks. Pool area is shaded after 6 being on the 3rd floor

The location of the hotel was convenient with the beach being down the street. The room we had was clean and decent, but had a small restroom/shower. I was a bit disappointed that we did not receive our a lei greeting upon arrival which was mentioned that the hotel did. They do offer a lei making class which was a nice experience. Parking was kind of a headache. To avoid paying the valet, since they don’t offer self parking on the hotel site, there was an option across the street to utilize public parking but parking hours were limited and you have to add additional time every few hours. Unfortunately both restaurants on site did not have many vegan options (only fries, açaí bowl or fruit). I hope they expand their menu for the future. Overall staff was friendly and we were able to walk further into downtown for shops.

Queens Kapiolani is so convenient. It’s in the heart of almost everything. The beach is like 3-5 mins walk. Beautiful place! Beautiful area!

Lobby Furnishings dated and uncomfortable. Lobby Breakfast corner styrofoam means of serving poor option for eat in, ok for takeaway.
We could have had a quieter room but size was generous.

Loved the vintage Hawaiian art, historical pictures and decor in general. Our room was large and comfortable with a stunning view of Diamond Head.

Great for families

Great, friendly staff. Much more quiet because it's at the end of the Waikiki strip. Much more reasonable price because it's across the street from the beach. It's more of a Best Western equivalent, not a luxury hotel. But super clean and safe, so worth the price.

This Hotel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First thing from check in they gave me a room that I did not book. The room I booked that was available through Expedia I was told that I am not obligated to get that same room. Only if it’s available when I check in. They gave me a room with two queen beds I booked a room with a king size bed. The beds were dirty. The shams were stained with water and the windows had spider webs all over. The pillows were stained yellow and there was a big roach in the bathroom under the toilet. The shower head was dirty and water only came out the side then the drain was clogged so the water filled up the tub and did not release. At that point I went to the manager and he told me my best bet would be to check out because they didn’t have any rooms left. Very rude. He told me he could have management and housekeeping come to my room to fix the drain and change the bedding but that would be it. Not one single apology or accommodation at all.

The property was nice. Food and drinks at the hotel were typically high priced as with other Waikiki hotels. All in all though it was a good property with good easy access to the beach. If you want to hike Diamond head crater, this is one of the best places to stay.

Great place to stay in Waikiki. Beach is walking distance. Parking might be a problem, but valet will give you tips and tricks to get around that.

The hotel was perfect, check-in process was excellent but the service at the Deck restaurant was terrible all because of the waitress who served us that evening. She needs to be retrained.

200 feet from the beach . Walking distance of food and shopping. Friendly staff.

Great location and great customer service. Room door was damaged and unable to lock at night. Did not receive water bottles as our friends did on the sixth floor and fifteen floor. Towels were dirty so we had to request new one on day one. Room seemed outdated and not serviced, like we received the leftover room. Will not be staying here again, which is a bummer as the location is great and customer service was as excellent.

This stay has been one of the best stays we have ever have. This is our 4th trip to the island and it was very memorable. We were blessed to be upgraded to an ocean view. My husband and i felt the aloha spirit all 3 days of our stay. From the front desk cheerful smile, the cleanliness hotel staff made our room everyday to the valet parking staff, we thank you for our beautiful trip and stay while were were visiting. We will be back again. Thank you!

Very retro clean and comfortable hotel. Priced reasonably we compared to other options like Hilton. Would definitely stay there again perfect location a block from Waikiki Beach.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times and it’s gone downhill. No parking available at any time over the course of a three she stay. Not able to get into the restaurant. Had to dine at the bar with kids and the staff were unbelievable rude. Coffee was terrible and no baked goods for two days. Used as a military long stay hotel on several floors so crowded elevators and folks with big bins of laundry. Definitely not a four star experience.

If you order through 3rd party this hotel will try to give you the least appealing room. I ordered a city view room and got a view of the roof with ACs. After waiting 3hrs for a room I was exhausted and stayed one night. Terrible way of doing business. I’ve come here a dozen or so times this was very disappointing. The rooms are over $300 even w a 3rd party app.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was spacious, however a coffee pot was not available in the room and this was disappointing! #1103
