Check in was terrible. Official check in is 3:00 pm. We arrived around 3:30 pm. We were told our room was not ready and would be ready in about 30 minutes. Our room was still not ready 45 minutes later. The front desk then said it would be another 20 minutes or so. I then said unacceptable as we had an upcoming commitment. Front desk then gave us a different room. Unbelievable for a fine hotel.

Our family had a great time at this hotel! Great service and the pool was fun for the kids. The location is great as well. The only issue was that the air conditioner fan in the room was way too loud when it was turned on.

I enjoyed every minute I stayed in your hotel not to mention the beautiful view of the river from my room. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

Our stay initially was fantastic. The food service staff were amazing. But when we checked out we had a difficult time. We paid with gift cards and they were not processed properly. We then had a deposit for the room held on our credit card for over a week and we are still dealing with this. The manager was also really rude and short with us. I made a formal complaint. I won’t be going back to the Edmonton location again.

The rooms are quiet, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was newly renovated and clean, We stayed over a summer weekend and the hotel was quite busy with a wedding etc. very congested with vehicles outside the front doors for most of our stay - valet parking was appreciated. I didn’t find the front desk staff especially helpful and was left with the impression our single room booking wasn’t worth any effort on their part. So - the hotel is lovely but the staff seem to cater to large groups preferentially. Nice walking access to the river and surrounding parks. Downtown feels a little unsafe after dark.

Beautiful hotel. Our host checking in was amazing. The beds were so comfortable and the view from our room was great. The food at the restaurant was delicious! There was an event and left the bathroom and far end of the grounds with some garbage on it and also in the bathroom on the lower floor. I called to ask some questions before arriving, the male person that answered was a little abrupt. But other than that. Our stay was great!

My daughter and I took some minutes to have an overdue mom and me staycation. I originally hesitated to book as other hotels are more economical. However, the decision to indulge in a treat at this hotel was worth every penny. The staff were beyond friendly and professional, the ambiance was exactly what life wished for and the comfort was good for the soul. We have decided to make this an annual retreat and look so forward to coming back again!!

This property is nicely renovated and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is the best luxury option in Edmonton. The Fairmont Gold suites are particularly convenient if you would like buffet breakfast or a snack/cocktail before dinner.

Wonderful stay! River views were lovely. Confederation Lounge was great; food, service, ambiance all first class. Staff all friendly and attentive. Room smallish but expected at a historic hotel. Bed very comfortable and AC working well. Easy walking to central downtown and Rogers Centre.

A little bit of misinformation. I phoned in advance to book a massage at spa. I was told that there was no need for an appointment as they will accommodate hotel guests. The spa receptionist dod not have a vacant spot. Luckily a half slot become available.
They seemed to be understaffed. Food orders were slow and mistakes were made

Fabulous hotel, beautifully remodeled and excellent service. Water machine in lobby is really a nice touch, and encourages use of reusable bottles, plus saves the hassle of trying to find water all the time. The parking is hard to find, and access once parked, and $40 per night seems a bit much for Edmonton. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay!
