Just an over night stay. The ladies were excellent on the check in reception, friendly, organised, offered information on the city, and the bar and restaurant facilities.
Shame the pool is not functional. But was explained that it has been since pre Covid.

Lovely friendly greeting on arrival, we went straight out for the evening after putting our bags in the room, return late after midnight and noticed a smell in the room couldn’t place it, left it as we were tired and just wanted to sleep, in the morning it was quite unpleasant and we realised it was from the sofa area which when we looked at was extremely dirty and the aroma was possibly urine

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2 night stay here. Whilst the property is starting to show its age and look a little tired in some areas in the room, the location is lovely and the absolutely first class amazing staff more than make up for this. They are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone says hi and smiles. I was really impressed. You should be so proud of your people! I would definitely stay here again, it was overall a wonderful stay.

Great location, hotel team incredibly welcoming and very clean. Sadly the hotel is in need of a refurb and our room, as well as some of the
communal areas, needed some TLC. I’d still recommend a stay here as it is a friendly hotel in a great area, with plentiful and easy parking.

I was in the area early so dropped my bag off which was an easy process.when checking in, the ladies on reception were amazing. Very cheerful and we could have a great laugh. The check in process was so simple and easy.
The room did have 1 drawback which was there were no usb charging sockets. This would have been so handy as I had not brought a plug as I thought the room would have them installed.
Breakfast was great and it is very rare for a hotel to have chocolate croissants with gooey chocolate in the middle. The scrambled eggs were quite powdery and not very nice but everything else was perfect!

We stayed 2 nights and the hotel although tired in places was very clean. The staff were friendly and the standard of service from the Restaurant staff was excellent.
The range and quality of the food at breakfast was excellent and always hot.
The only complaint I have is, on the Friday night there was a company event in the Restaurant area till Midnight, the 2 rooms were situated above the Restaurant and although myself and my son, who had our 2 year old granddaughter with them politely complained about the level of music, the level was not adjusted to a sensible level, meaning we all had a very broken nights sleep.

Lovely stay each & every staff very friendly and helpful. I dealt with Paige from start to finish very professional went above & beyond, most importantly she act knowledge we were celebrating & made the stay extra special with her kind actions. Hotel location is excellent to go out to eat on Humber street, nice classy restaurant & bars. On a nice day it would lovely to sit outside on the marina & look out to all the yachts. I would say one of the nicest holiday inn i have stayed at. Staff were up there 👍

When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very helpful so no problem there. Neither was there any problems with our room..
However, paying £14 each for the breakfast was definitely not what we expected and absolutely not worth the amount we paid..
I will stay here again in the future but will never order breakfast, it's just not worth it..

Got a really nice welcome from Vicky in the pleasant foyer. Also good service from house keeping who made up our sofa bed when he could have just delivered sheets. Family room clean and pleasant view over marina. Breakfast was was pleasant enough and great that the kids ate free. With east access to town, I’d definitely stay here again.

Misleading advertisement, rooms very outdated, old shower, bed damaged, no sound proofing so you could hear everything in the evening.

This is not a 4 star hotel, and I don’t know why it has been classed as one. The swimming pool was shut during Covid and has never been reopened, facilities are limited. The bar/restaurant are expensive and the rooms are outdated. Any issues you have with the room the stock answer is we need an upgrade. Location was good with pubs and restaurants close by and the connections over the road

Staff are excellent, breakfast is very good. Room was a bit tatty although i'm told they are due a refurb later this year, no plugs near the bed though which was annoying
