I totally enjoy the room it was clean quite

Absolutely satisfied with my stay, room was clean, breakfast was better than expected, free parking, and a wonderful staff at the ready to assist. I felt comfortable the entire time and would recommend this hotel.

Good room for value. Not new or luxurious. But clean, comfortable bed and good water pressure for shower. Would stay again.

Spent 3 nights at the Downers Grove Best Western. Room, beds, and washroom were very clean. Breakfast offered a nice range: fruit, eggs/sausage, cereals, muffins, etc. Staff was attentive and nice. They paid attention to cleanliness. Only issue: need to enter from Finley Avenue (needs a sign on Finley to direct travelers). I will be back! Great place.

The AC in the room barely worked, and the fridge didn't keep items very cold. In addition, the stopper in the sink was not able to be raised on its own. When we asked the front desk to help us retrieve a personal item accidentally left in the parking lot, they were reluctant to help until we pressured them by mentioning that we would call the corporate office. Furthermore, the extetnal security door had a bad habit of deactivating room keys! On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the buffet-style breakfast plentiful. Would we stay here again? Not if there were better options.

The check in was a little tricky due to a booking issue but to no fault of the staff. The receptionist was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Very conveniently located around shopping and restaurants. Will frequent again.

This was my second stay within a month. First stay was 4 nights and this stay was 3 nights… of those 2 stays for a total of 7 nights my room was cleaned one time and towels replaced 1 time. This was never an issue until recently. I will likely be looking at other locations.

Terrific staff and I loved the addition of fresh fruit on the breakfast bar. The building is a bit dated, but the room was clean and everything worked perfectly. Also, I really appreciated that they don't use heavy perfumes and scents in their cleaning products.

I’ve never stayed anywhere (hotel or home) where I got bed bug bites. Went to the doctor after my trip and it was confirmed. My brother stayed in a room a few doors down and he also got bug bites as well. STAY AWAY - Carpets in lobby and hallways were filthy, elevator smelled horrible. There are many other options near by for comparable prices - avoid this one! You’ve been warned.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is infected with cockroaches. You will experience cockroaches in your bed when you wake up, crawling on you in your sleep. I went here to have some rest from exhausting work, and found a cockroach on the desk. I called the front desk and they said pest control is not available at 11PM, rooms are fully booked, and they do not have authority to give me a refund or any compensation. I tried to cope with the cockroach which I haven't found, and went to sleep at 1:30AM without getting into the sheets, which I could not trust anymore at that moment and didn't even turn off the lights. At 4:00AM, I felt something weird and woke up to see the cockroach on my bed. I immediately packed everything up and escaped from that room and went to the lobby only to hear that they don't have authority again. The manager, Gabe spoke to me on phone after 2 phone calls and I am still waiting for him to send me an e-mail about the compensation the hotel will give me. This was totally unacceptable, and i do not understand that it is taking this long for them to give a response for such a terrible experience. I need at least a full refund on this.

Great stay. Check in was easy and quick. Clerk was a pleasure to deal with. Hotel is in good shape, clean and great location. Breakfast was pretty good also.

Check in was smooth although the young lady was being coached on a situation and didn’t realize I was standing there for like 5 mins while some man was speaking to her in the office. Hotel was clean. Right off the highway which was convenient. Easy access to highway to downtown Chicago (took us about 45 mins in traffic). Pool was on the smaller side but it was hot out so any size pool is refreshing lol. Pool was kept super clean. Rooms were cleaned daily. I would stay again!!

The room and common areas were very clean. Friendly service - Peter, the night receptionist was great! Beautiful outside pool area. More breakfast options than most affordable hotels.

We were in Chicago to take my daughter to DePaul University. Hotel was perfectly clean, staff was super helpful. The breakfast was hot and there was plenty of food. Was nice and quiet to sleep. Would stay again when we go to visit our daughter!

Flexible and friendly staff. Clean premises and rooms. Furnishings and finish are modern, but the building itself is dated. Next to a busy street.

The only downside to this hotel is getting into the parking lot can be tricky. Otherwise a great bargain.

Overall this place was fine, had to do a little cleaning in the room. I will say the hallway did not smell great due to what we believe was people keeping pets in a room. Some of the other guests that were staying there were a little sketchy. We only stayed a few days so it was a decent stay.

Excellent, especially for the price.

The hotel was very busy and slightly crowded. Our keys did not work despite having them replaced several times. The front desk worker said management would have to come to the room the next morning to reset the door, which was inconvenient. At one time, a random couple used a key and walked right into the room. They apologized and seem confused. We went to the front desk to tell them and the worker just said oh it must have been a front desk mix up of rooms (which he was the one who helped check us in). It made us feeling unsafe about people being able to randomly come into our room. Also while waiting at the front desk we overheard another guest asking about if any toothbrushes were available because he forget his. The front desk worker just stared at him and simple said no. It was quite rude.

The breakfast was good and with a lot of options (breads, waffle, eggs, bacon, etc…)

Nice hotel, but could be cleaner. Carpet was dirty as well as bathroom.

The bathroom was a decent size and fully functional. The room was a little crowded with a sitting chair and an ottoman that didn’t really fit. The TV had a broken cable so the screen was fuzzy. The room smelled funky and musty.

Pros: Close to dining, shopping and expressways. Felt safe in the area. Neg: Lots of outside noise and dog poo along the sidewalk where you park. Coffee tastes terrible but Starbucks is nearby. The tv does not turn to face the bed, bad mounting decision as most people want to lay in bed and watch tv.

I switched rooms several times due to the uncleanliness of the rooms.

The property needs an update. My overall stay was good. My room was cleaned everyday and i was there for 9 days.
