We had a lovely 2 day stay here. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was as we expected but the shower was amazing! Was not expecting that.
The room itself isn’t huge which was fine for us. The only suggestion I would make was that the table and chairs in the corner was surplus to our requirements and there is alot of furniture and equipment in a small space . Didn’t affect us at all other than if we had had bigger cases we would have found it difficult to put them anywhere without them being in the way.
Other than that small thing, fab hotel in a great location.
We will definitely stay here again.

The room was too hot and th ac didn't always work and when it did, it was very loud. There was a bit of a smell, we think from the bathroom. My earphones went missing and non of the staff were very helpful and didn't seem to communicate very well. Bit we did have a wonderful view from our window onto a corridor and some stairs

We spent 3 comfortable night, close to Paddington station with plenty of convenience shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We waited a long time for the room to be cleaned! We were with a child, so we planned for our son to have a nap after the road and after that we wanted to go to the museum. But we waited for almost an hour for the room. We got to the museum, but we didn't have much time before closing, so we didn't see everything we planned there! Shouldn't family rooms be cleaned in priority over single rooms? Also, this room #7 has no windows, it does have one, but it faces the corridor, not the street, so it's useless.

I stayed in the micro-single, and it was pretty much good enough. For a tiny room, it was well laid out, with a small wardrobe, desk and chair, and tiny en suite with a heated towel rack and a good hot shower. There was an unpleasant drain odor, unfortunately, but otherwise the bathroom was clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable, despite a few sprung springs. The room was clean, though the presence of a pest control box under the desk was a bit disconcerting. Friendly staff, super convenient to Paddington Station, quiet, reasonably clean, and inexpensive. What’s not to like?

The worst night of sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The walls must be made of paper because you can hear what everyone is doing on every floor. Banging and thumps all night coming from god knows what.
The beds are horrifically uncomfortable to the point that it was actually painful to sleep on.
The hotel is clean and the staff are nice but if you’re not a heavy sleeper you won’t have a good time at this hotel.

Room key didn’t work and had to go up and down three times before they figured it out. Bed only came with one pillow rather than two. Showerhead was squirting in all different directions.

The room was very small for 3 of us air con had a leak shower plug didn’t drain very hot room window look straight into the landing which mean we had to have the curtains closed as the glass wasn’t opaque just plain it was a squeeze to get around the beds I scraped me back twice on the tv trying to get around the bed

We booked this hotel as we could use our Tesco vouchers and the location is great. All the lines are running. It has a tea and coffee facilities and overall great stay really.

Clean room, comfy bed. Pls don't mine the bad reviews. It was an awesome stay. All the hotel rooms in London are small but this room was quite okey. Shower has enough pressure and sheets smelled clean. They kept our luggage after check-out. Hotel is so close to the Paddington Station. There's Tesco and MS close, so food is ok. There was heater and hairdryer. I would choose this hotel again.

Somehow there was no hot water for me to bath, depends on my luck. room is too small and there is almost no place for me to open the suitcase, the room was clean but there was some smell.

When we arrived we were greeted by Denny, very polite young man. The room was very clean and ample for 4 people. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We are all tea drinkers so whenever we went and asked for extra tea bags or milk we were given big handfuls which was excellent. Checkout was very easy and quick.
There was someone at the front desk 24/7 which was a big plus. We would definitely use the Royal Cambridge Hotel again whenever we go to London.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve been in.Everything has gone the way I want it to be. The staff are so respectful and treated me well. The beds are comfy and it’s so cheap way worth the money.

Very nice staff who kindly allowed early check-in. The mattress was terrible and made our bodies hurt in the morning. Thank goodness for the great shower pressure and hot water to relieve the sore muscles. I wasn’t expecting the best mattress ever, but something slightly better would make a difference. It would be better to have wash cloths available for washing in the shower.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced was with the wifi. It could only be reached when we were by the door. We were on the second floor. This was mentioned to the front desk and said they would look into an extender.

Paddington station and lots of restaurants etc. we stayed here when we watched Taylor swift and for the amount of time your actually in the room this place was perfect.

I was a little bit apprehensive about stopping at this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. We thought it was very good value for money. The staff were nice and helpful and the rooms of a decent size for London. The hotel communal areas had just been decorated. We both said we would say here again.

We had booked a room with 3 separate beds, but received a room with 2 beds (one standard and one queen size).
When we complained they said that it whas an error from Hotels.com and we needed to contact them. We did so (which was not easy) the said that the error whas the hotel and that they might be able to correct it the day after, but no guarrantees. And we had to ask for extra blankets but they only had extra sheets Fortunately the corrected it the day after. but we had a rough night with two gron-ups in the queensize bed.

Read some harsh reviews and was concerned but how wrong they are!! Yes it was small but not being funny your in London you only need a bed to sleep! The room was fine shower was good and fan was excellent. Only 2 downsides were A: the price was quite a lot for the room and facilities and B: no brekkie. Lad on desk was welcoming. Ont thing to point out that I wasn’t aware of, you need photo ID to check in. Id left my things at home as obviously don’t want too much in me walking around luckily husnbanf had his licence on him. All in all would stay again for convenience. Thanks guys

We booked three rooms in this hotel. One room had three beds and was extremely small to the point that we were not able to open our suitcases. Another major problem was that the bathroom shower had mold, and my kids did not feel comfortable taking a shower. The bathroom also had a bad smell. In addition, there was no place to put your shower gel and shampoo in the shower area. Overall, the rooms were not clean enough. The other two rooms booked by my mom and sister had similar issues.
