The room was so humid, you walk on a wet floor pretty much. The ac is loud but doesn't do job at all. There was only hand towels and no large ones, i had to use small ones after shower.

When we arrived, the pool was not working. They said it would work the next day.It still was not working. We had to switch rooms two times before we got a room that was okay to stay in. The first room smelled like urine. The second room, the air conditioning was leaking.All over the floor and making the puddle

Just a quick stop to get 5 hours sleep on road trip. Price and accommodations were perfect

The door to the room did not shut right you could see daylight through the door, There was people parked behind the hotel blaring radios

Not many great hotels in Richmond, it’s a college town so there’s a lot of apartments not hotels. (Do NOT go to Comfort Suites in Richmond, they have a roach problem and the employees start acting angry the second you walk in.) Manager very nice they also allow pets. Run down a bit but still the best Richmond has to offer.

Economical, very reasonable for the price!

Very old. Needs a lot of updating. Needs new curtains in room and bathroom needs updating. Loved that there was no carpet in room. Easy to clean

The motel its self was clean quite and very nice everything was as displayed in the photos the gentlemen that was on nightshift when we checked in was very polite and helpful when check out time arrived i went down to try and rent the room again the woman working behind the counter was extremely rude and very short as i was leaving the motel i tried to purchase to soft drinks she rudely told me the price as i went to use my card to pay she told me cash only i told her that i had purchased two drinks when i checked in and paid with my card and she processed to tell me that never happened i responded by trying to explain to her it did happen and she rudely told me impossible and that she didnt have time for this crap i enjoyed the stay there but the woman working the counter that morning was extremely rude and not very professional at all

Place was inexpensive but the room was tired looking, especially the bathroom. Only 2 towels. Too many pets next door.

It was fine but needs updates in the hallways and lobby. None of the ice machine's were working and the pool was under construction.

With check in, rm 108 smelled so badly of smoke and mildew, we had to change rooms. Second room, 208, only slightly better. Too tired at 930p to change hotels, or we would've.... Will be my last visit here. The staff tried to make it better.

Staff was very friendly. The breakfast did not have many selections. Door to room was very difficult to open and close.

The only issue I ran into was that my booking was for about $100, but when I checked in, they ended up charging me $180, due to a price hike for a special event. BUT, the front desk guy was super sweet and respectful and worked to get me a refund for the difference. I wish I could remember his name, but was awesome :-) The room was really nice and seemed clean. Would def stay here again.

Been staying here for the Special Olympics for about 10 years now- it's our favorite place to stay-

Justin at check in was awesome, he was nice & professional very welcoming.. The room was clean & comfortable. The lamp on the wall didn't work & the fridge didn't get real cold but everything was compatible for our nights stay. Housekeepers was nice & helped me with my older dog, while I took my very hyper pup to the car, When your in need of somewhere good to stay while in Richmond ky this red roof is great . My #1 pick.. Thank you all awesome job! 5 *'s

Room conjoined to our had a kid in lock anyone could access our room! Got a non smoking room and everything smelled like cigarettes. Booked for 3 nights only stayed 1 and moved over to the Quality Inn

In need of an overhaul. No comparison to the Wyndham stays that were in the same price range. Terrible breakfast with thermos coffee and not much more. Once again, see Wyndham.

It was clean and quiet the staff was friendly and the room was just as advertised

The hotel wouldn't accept the card I used to book it so I had to reload my car and go to a gas station to withdraw from an ATM to pay in cash. The door had huge gaps and I could hear everything in the hallway. The toilet didn't have running water. The panels on the Jacuzzi tub were falling off. The parking lot was not well lit and felt very unsafe at night. The side doors were exits only. The pool was out of order. The ice machines were out of order.

The bathroom orientation was not very usable for older person getting off the low toilet.

It’s a hotel, it was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was lacking but good if you need somewhere to sleep.

Frudge was broken and leaking, toilet seat broken, staff at front desk very very slow.

I have stayed at this location before. It is clean & comfortable with a great price. There are not a ton of amenities....but, that's okay for me. It is a convenient location for a lot of dining options & for the activities that I'm involved with. My only negative...and it is a minor one....is that I wish there were better breakfast options, such as muffins or yogurt.

John at the front desk was super helpful finding me room. I’m allergic to cats/dogs so he literally walked around with me to find a room that wouldn’t be an issue. I then call to make he could switch. I’ve never had someone take that much time to help me for a check in before. Overall this is a great hotel for the price. It’s not perfect but it’s clean, doesn’t smell like weed, and it’s in a safe area. John and others here have been very nice!

We booked this hotel last min.the day before. There seemed to limited hotels for a Friday night in this area. This hotel had an elevator which is a plus for us. The checking was smooth we had prepaid and the room was ready. The room itself was clean but seemed dingy due to the colour of paint they chose. It had new laminate flooring so they are trying. The doors , our and a few peoples rooms on our floor were very squeaky, especially in the middle of the night. There seemed to be a lot of commotion, but in fairness it is a hotel. My biggest complaint is that the outlets provided would not consistently work. The sockets are very loose when something is plugged in. They could not be relied on to even charge a tablet. It made charging Hearing Aids questionable not to mention how do you sleep with an intermittent CPAP machine. Common guys these sockets are WORN OUT!!! There where lots of receptacles but they where all the same hard to get a reliable connection. The breakfast was adequate, no eggs or meat but hot and cold cereal and a waffle maker. Coffe was empty when we got there (7:30 am). They had toast some muffins and a small offering of fresh fruit. They had a pool with water in it but that too was not available for some reason. If you are in need of a last minute place to stay for a quick stay over night it is ok, however it would not be my first or second choice. I will not stay there again, I hate painting all hotels with the same brush but Red Roof is not for me.
