It was my 3rd time in Riu, but Riu Macao is not what I expected. I didn't like the food, the drinks, the room very humid. The best part was the staff, good service.

The staff is amazing and pleasant. My room experience was not great. I had to be moved to another room since the first room had a bad odor and pest issues. The 2nd room I was placed in was better but still had a rotten egg odor coming from the vents. Sleeping is an essential part of vacation for me. Having an amazing staff is not enough to make me want to return. Based on the issues I had with my room, I wouldn't recommend this location to others.

Thr food at that resort made my whole family sick. It was 6 of us there. On the last night of our stay we ate a a restaurant called Krystal and that was the best food we had all week.

The place was wonderful I will come back again love the stuff and everything of the resort into next time

All inclusive. Lots of entertainment and activities. Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly. Buffet are great with different cuisine.

While our stay was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the room smelled damp (like mildew) upon arrival, and there were several bugs in the room. The pool temperature was too hot as well. Pros of the stay were food options, staff and service, and on-site entertainment. We would definitely consider going back to Riu once the moisture and bug issues are resolved.

The property was wonderful. It had a lot of swimming pools. It was always enough space to sit down and eat whenever you were ready. No long wait times for fine dining. The property was clean. Everyone pretty much spoke Spanish and English.

Definitely recommend booking elite club, benefits are well worth it. Staff was fantastic and every need was met in a timely manner. Only complaint was that we booked for 2 beds and ended up with one king bed because our double room was overbooked but we were fine with it. Wish we would have stayed longer than the 5 days we did!!

We liked having access to the pools 24/7. Rooms were super nice. Service was great. Drinks were great too. Unfortunately we both got food poisoning. We were extra careful of our food choices too and still ended up sick. So that was really awful to experience.

Loved this resort! The staff is the friendliest ever! I rarely visit a place twice , but I’ll be back !

The beach was well kept and beautiful. We did have an issue with our room , but they accommodated and moved us to a different room. The water park was pretty dated, but overall fun. The dining options were great, and the staff was amazingly kind, accommodating, and worked very hard. This is a little bit of a busy resort, which I expected. If you’re looking for something up beat this is the place.

You’re getting what you pay for staying here. It’s not a bad property overall but the food is not good.

Just came back from Riu Macao and wanted to thank all the entertainment staff, can’t remember all their names but special thanks to Willie, Iderya, David. And Rosa for serving us each night at the nightly show. You All Rock! We will definately be back. Check out the Sports Bar and Shakira will always serve you with her bright smile and is super friendly.

When arriving to the resort around 2pm my room wasn’t available (which was fine because checkin was at 3 or 4 I believe) my husband and I waited for our cousin to arrive which was 15 minutes later. There room was available. They go to their room and wasn't happy with it said it smelled moldy and didn’t like the tub in the middle. They finally get a different room much updated room. We get to our room and it’s the room that my cousin initially was assigned to. We didn’t find anything wrong with it because my husband likes bathtubs. Me on the other hand is a woman of a certain age group and like the room to be cooler, the air worked but not to my liking, the toilet flushed sometime and then we would have to take the top off to let the water come in to flush it. This was the only issue we had. The staff Carlos, George, Willie, Jesus were all amazing and took great care of us. Food was good and they did an amazing job with helping with surprising my cousin when her kids showed up for their wedding renewal. I left off other staff can’t think of names but everyone was wonderful

Food wasn’t the Best but it was not bad . Entertainment was not as good as other Riu resorts. Theme party w LIT . Staff was nice .

Everything was excellent. The property is well maintained and your wait staff in all areas were so attentivel and did an excellent job!!! The food was so delicious and you provided a great variety of food. I loved that you provided transportation to local attractions.

This was our first time going to an all-inclusive. Riu palace Macao was perfect for us. Nice balance between relaxing and entertainment. The staff was amazing. Expedia made transportation and booking excursions easy and safe through destination services.
