Having booked a water taxi from the airport to the hotel beforehand and having received confirmation, there was no taxi upon arrival. Water taxi was also booked for a return trip upon checking a day before departure was informed no taxis are available due to the film festival. After letting them know of my disappointment a taxi was arranged however was charged more than what was communicated to me before the trip. This is not a 4 star hotel, it is in need of refurbishment, staff are not particularly helpful. Would not recommend to anyone.

Wow! when they said canal view, they weren't kidding! For a very reasonable price, we had an enormous room with two balconies, a great view, and a comfy, restful sleep. It,s close to the water bus stop and the gondola ferry, and even has its own dock so water taxis can pick you up and drop you off. An amazing rooftop deck for sunset drinks tops it off. I would stay there again.

The space of room was so big and convenient

We had a terrible experience at this property. I reserved 3 night from 8/16 to 8/19, 2024.You have to take a water bus to reach the hotel. The hotel is nicely located near St Marks with nearby restaurants and shops. But, it's a very old building lacking maintenance. I saw two bed bugs on my bed, and the bugs bite me at night when I was sleeping. The bed bugs are as big as a lady bug. I recorded videos and took pictures of the bugs and showed them to the front desk next morning around 6:30am. The staff and manager are very polite and nice. They offered me refund since we decided to leave the hotel. I regret that I did not read google review of this hotel before booking. There are several complains of bed bugs this year. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are ok with bed bugs.

Great location. Lovely room

This was a very quaint hotel in Venice, in close proximity to eateries and shopping. The Superior room was extremely small, but accommodating. The staff was helpful and courteous. I enjoyed sitting in the back of the hotel on the canal and enjoying the water and scenery. This hotel is perfect for scenery and relaxation.

I lliked the location, very convenient, walkable to most attractions. Nice restaurants around. Didn't like the bed bugs. They were everywhere.

Crack in shower. No hair conditioner. A little disappointed in some front desk staff but overall enjoyed our stay broom was huge and beautiful and it is convenient to the highlights of Venice but tucked down a side alley to back on grand canal and much more peaceful then some hotels around San Marco or Rialto Bridge. A very nice location balance. Gondolas next door.

Great stay. Hotel was clean, efficient staff and just overall a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Foscari Palace in August 2024. The staff was great. Very friendly and always helpful. Their breakfast was very good and it appealed to all of us (age groups of 20 yr olds, 50’s, 60 and 70’s). Location was great. Not walking distance to the main sightseeing areas but only a short cab ride away. The front desk always called one for us. The rooms were beautiful, clean, it had a minibar type fridge, and a nice bathroom. My only issue was the steps to the elevator. There are only 3 small steps to the elevator but when taking a two week trip through Europe for six, a small luggage won’t cut it. Not a huge problem just an annoyance. All and all it was a great place to stay!! Highly recommend !!!

Great customer service and breakfast

Rooms need to be renovated. Mirror falling off the wall. Lamps didn’t work. Ac vent was broken. The location is great, but the man at the front desk was rude. He couldn’t even be bothered to say goodbye.

Nice and clean hotel rooms, with good breakfast options.

The staff here was amazing. We arrived a day later than planned due to Airline issues, but were still well received and accommodating even at 3am. Always willing to help and answer all my questions. The room is quite comfortable, and the view is worth the price.

Beautiful Hotel.

Overall excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Hotel shared spaces well kept and lovely. Working elevator was a plus. Only negatives were: shower drain was clogging at times and blinking street lamp outside our window was bothersome at night, but overall our stay was pleasant.

Very nice hotel near all places you need to visit, breakfast was ok, our room was beautiful big bed and bathroom

We found a buy in our bed and when I asked the front for a new room or at the very least new sheets it seemed like I was just inconveniencing her. After some back and forth we were given a new room, but the bug and exchange left a bad taste in our mouths. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

In waterway and near bus stop

We will not stay at this property again. The property is simply not a 4 Star by common standards. The phone in the room did not work and never got fixed, the bathtub massager made a strange noise, there was a 10 Euro fee to eat at the terrace with a view, the room itself did not have a view, water overflew out of the bathtub when showering. The staff were unenergized and unmotivated. The location is good.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room with big beds. Good service. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Lovely terrace area on the canal to sit and soak up the Venice experience with view of St Mark’s bell tower. Excellent location and short walk to all the main tourist attractions as well as the station. Good value.

A wonderful old building right on the Grand Canal. The building itself is full of character and charm, giving a perfect sense of the wonder Venice. It is ideally placed to access both water and walking routes: there is a Gondola station right outside, and a Water bus stop 5 minutes walk away. The Rialto bridge and St Mark's square are within easy walking distance. Whilst we only ate breakfast in the hotel this was plentiful and fresh. The service considerate without being overbearing. A perfect location for our trip to Venice, we will be going back.

Convenient walking from the ACTV. Wonderful breakfast buffet and clean rooms. Quiet terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location, large rooms and great breakfast. Breakfast staff was super nice. Bathrooms were dated but would definitely recommend

Hotel is really well situated for exploring Venice, close to many restaurants. Next to a water bus stop which makes transfer from railway station very easy. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately, the bar was not open throughout our 3 night stay and neither was the roof terrace. It would have been lovely to have been able to relax on the terrace with a drink after a day’s sightseeing but apparently it was closed for renovation.
