This a great hotel! We felt so well taken care of. We were contacted before we arrived to be sure they knew when we were coming and to ask if they could help with transportation from the airport. Vanessa at the front desk is a treasure! She was SO HELPFUL with giving restaurant advice and helping make our stay as easy as possible. She even tracked down my dad's walking stick when he left it on the water taxi! The location of the hotel is convenient to St Mark's Square and a gondola hub, but was quiet at night and felt very safe. Our room included a separate bedroom and kitchenette. Could not recommend this property more-- a gem!

This property is a true gem. Our apartment looked over a canal with gondolas passing by regularly... gorgeous!! The location was top notch. Grazie (our host) was super helpful and made our check in and check out very easy. She even recommended a few great restaurants that we tried and loved. The place was air conditioned (a huge bonus in July in Venice). I cannot say enough about this property. You have to stay here if given the opportunity!!

Excellent location in the middle of Venice - easy access to both St Marks Square and Rialto. Host Vanessa was very helpful, with whatsapp messages before we arrived and a ton of helpful suggestions. One point of clarification: the apartment DOES have room for four (one double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the main room) and that was perfectly comfortable for the four of us. I'm not quite sure how you'd sleep six but maybe they have extra beds for that. Also an in-room washer/dryer which you have to pay for but we used it to good effect in the middle of a tour that included Croatia, Italy and Greece. Warmly recommended!

Very friendly staff and great location.

This was such an amazing place to stay! I loved our rooms, and the view of the water and gondolas rowing by below. It was constant free entertainment with hearing the musicians playing and singing during the day as they would float by our place. Vanessa was a delight, so helpful, and full of information and recommendations for our family of four.

We had a lovely stay! Venessa was excellent in guiding us to good restaurants and places to see. Highly recommend it!

We were pleasantly surprised that this room was actually a 2 bathroom apartment! Vanessa and the other woman who greeted us (cannot remember her name) were so friendly and helpful. The room and location were fabulous, and it was just a short walk to/from the vaporetto. For an extra fee there was a washer/dryer available in the room which was very handy during our stay. The room was in an excellent location near the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. We absolutely loved our stay in Venice at the Residence Corte Grimani!

Centrally located hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Vanessa and team were very responsive to our needs even prior to our stay. One recommendation for the hotel is to change the tub-shower door/barrier as they only have the 1/3 screen barrier. If one isn’t super careful when showering, water ends up all over the floor. I know this is common in Europe but it seems like a lot of hotels are getting away from this type of shower configuration and setting up fully enclosed shower stalls. And for those choosing this hotel because they have a clothes washing machine, be warned there is a 50 euro charge to use it. Luckily we weren’t planning or counting on using it. Otherwise, it’s a great choice if you want to stay close to the big sites in Venice! FYI, if you need to catch an early flight out of Venice, it’s a 160 euro water taxi ride from hotel to Airport. We had a 3:30am taxi pick up scheduled in order to catch our 6am flight. Something else to consider if you’re looking to stay in this hotel.

Nice location and view but the staff is not too friendly.

Vanessa was extremely communicative and helpful before and during our stay! We loved the hotel room and the location could not have been better!!

Vice nice, super-friendly and so incredibly helpful from the very second that we made the reservation until we (sadly) departed at the end of our wonderful stay. And you can’t beat the central location.

What a perfect place to stay and in Venice. Windows look over a small inner canal! So picturesque! The staff were helpful with any directions we needed and everything was so close. Yet it was off the tourist path. The rooms were lovely and all the amenities of home including laundry. It was in fact a huge apartment, even 2 bathrooms. My only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard.

Great place!

This darling place is located in the perfect location. They gave us easy directions to get there. Vanessa at the front desk is AMAZING. She is so helpful and helped us get a water taxi, literally 3 steps away to get to our cruise ship shuttle drop off place. Beautiful views of the canal and gondolas floating by. We loved this place!

This place is AMAZING! Great location, great rooms, we booked the large room with 1 bed, 1 bath on one side of the room separated by an internal door from the other bedroom, kitchen and bath. So close to everything and Vanessa gave us the most amazing tips for things to do and how go get places. Most friendly host for sure. One of my favorite places we have ever booked on any vacation. Highly recommend!

Residence Corte Grimani is an excellent location if you want to be close to everything but yet have quiet at night. Vanessa is an amazing host who makes you feel very welcome and goes out of her way to tell you all about Venice including great recommendations for places to see and eat. We will definitely return. Beautiful apartment right on the canal where the gondolas pass by. Within steps of the Basilica and Doges palace. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful and the apartment is very clean and big with a fabulous view. We loved this property, recommend it without hesitation!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The property was very nice though does not resemble the photos on the booking site. Only negative was the mattress in the bedroom was very hard.
