Location is in the heart of everything. The parking is a public lot a couple blocks away and our map program had a hard time finding the hotel which was a bit stressful after a long travel day. The hotel was a quiet reprieve. The bed was comfy and we loved the included breakfast. The coffee hit the spot.

Nicely located 2 minutes from Hofbräuhausbryggeriet but still in a quiet steet. Clean and comfortable room and nice guys at the reception.

very nice boutique hotel on the Northern edge of the old town. Just a 5 min walk to Marion Platz. Close to many good restaurants and shopping as well as historic buildings. A large and very pleasant park is just a short walk away. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my wife. Mattress may need replacing. Amenities were good, breakfast was very good, hotel was clean and up to date. Staff was cheerful and efficient. We would stay again. Have fun!

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Munich city center. Location is convenient and the hotel definitely lived up to its high google ratings

The manager was rude. Didn't care that I was very dissatisfied.I paid $385 per night, per night, for a room the tiny. The breakfast was the worst! Not even a toaster!
5.0
Great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect because it was only a few minutes walk to old town and/or public transportation. We opted for the breakfast package and there was a good variety of delicious food.

The hotel was gorgeous, right around the corner from ANYTHING you’d want to do on foot in Munich. Ac was crisp for us on the hot days, shower was stocked with way more shampoo, conditioner, and soaps than we needed. Front desk was very helpful for us. I would absolutely stay again in Munich.

Very well located. A little outdated but staff is phenomenal

Helpful staff incl Ristorante Il Tenore. Well situated in regards Staatopern.

Great location.

The hotel was modern, the staff was very friendly, and the bathroom was a standard size bathroom for an American hotel, which in Europe is unusual. It is in walking distance to the center area. I would definitely stay here again.
2.5
Wonderful hotel stay. Staff was excellent and happy to help with all our requests. The hotel is very conveniently located rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection.

Location is perfect. You are right in the historic area. Tons of restaurants and shopping. Taxi stand on the next block. Also a block away from The Residence.
Only thing I’d say is Munich is a party city so out on the street it can be loud pretty late. Ask for a high up room.

Great room, great location. Breakfast was top notch. A woman named Cici worked every morning, always a smile, always remembered what coffee we liked and always fast.

The location is perfect to visit the city.

Hotel was excellent location for visiting the Hofbrauhaus and the Marienplatz.

The location is at walking distance to… everywhere! It’s a small property and a bit overpriced, without a lobby, so there is nowhere to stay, just only in your room. There is though an italian restaurant -nothing extraordinary- so at least you can order something in your room if not feeling like going out at some point. Overall a nice stay, in an ideal location for walking around the old town.

The hotel is well presented, with simple, elegant decor, cleaned daily to a high standard, with comfortable beds and in an excellent location. We opted out of breakfast, due to the cost - it would have added €500 to our 7 day stay as a couple. I assume this is provided in the integral Italian restaurant. We had dinner there one night, and found the food and service to be excellent. Staff at the hotel were pleasant, but a little disengaged. Not eating breakfast in the premises spoiled our usual holiday routine, but this is what we had booked. It is a shame that there is no bar in the premises to relax in. However the high standard of accommodation and the great location mean we are likely to return, and overall I would recommend it.

Comfortable small hotel. Staff at front desk very good. Nice breakfast. Only complaint is street noise on occasion in middle of night so expect to have your sleep interrupted

This 4 star hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of old town. It is also right across the street from the opera house. It is also near the famous beer hall Hapbrauhaus. The rooms had been renovated. Unfortunately our suite’s bathroom had an unpleasant smell.

Very clean, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Spitting distance to Hofbräuhaus and Old Town. Definitely felt safe. Will return next time in Munich!

The location of this hotel is fabulous. Everything is within walking distance and it’s easy to get around. The one of the main problems is the staff. When arriving there was no friendly greeting from the lady at the reception. She was very grumpy and you felt like an intruder. It made us believe the word hostess comes the word hostile. The others on the team were slightly better. Breakfast was poor and disappointing. Nothing was refilled and the food offered did not look appetizing at all. Better skip it, there are so many nice breakfast places in the vicinity. Room was small and was quite outdated and and one of the down fillings inside the bed linen was stained. The bathroom was okay and had had a renovation. All in all, this hotel is much to expensive for what it has to offer. Especially the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the staff at reception was very disturbing. Don’t expect any welcoming smiles here.

Good hotel in the core of the city near Staatsoper perfect for theatre-goers
But hotel Falkenturm is situated on the same spot, employees are much more pretty there and it costs less.
So go to Falkenturm! I lived there and I liked it more!!!

Location is awesome. Close to everything. The only negative is if you want to sleep in… the side road is very noisy, and loud trash trucks come every morning at 7:00am!! Otherwise, great hotel, great service.

Property is good. Though can hear noise from the street at night.

First time stay and so close to the famous Hofbräuhaus!

Absolutely beautiful property!
Wonderful staff and owner!

Enjoyed excellent location, bathroom, beds, living room furnishings and dinette all lovely and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, dining area and breakfast staff,
Experience with male owner - highly professional, courteous, helpful.
Check in less desirable. Person was at end of shift, rushed. Took 3 minutes.

We would not hesitate to book again into this unbelievably "American-friendly" hotel with a pleasantly European feel. Pristine cleanliness, beautiful breakfast buffet, wonderful multi-lingual hotel staff, huge absorbent towels and washcloths(!) in the room, very well stocked snack basket and mini-bar with reasonable pricing. Plenty of hanging space and convenient luggage places in the room. All of this would be enough - but then add the fantastic location within 2 blocks of the Hofbrauhaus (or even better, the Aylinger and Augustine restaurants across the street from Hofbrauhaus) and within three blocks of the Munchen Resident, and four blocks from the Glockenspiel.
We very highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town, which was great. the room was very small, but very clean..the staff friendly and the breakfast very good. Only downside it was very pricey. we only had one night and wanted to be in the old town, so you pay for location.

Great location. Comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast.

Almost no amenities. Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. No coffee or tea supplies in the room or in the lobby, no area in the hotel to socialize or hang out at all, rooms are very small and cramped. Staff at reception not very welcoming or helpful.

The property is in a fantastic location. Other than that there isn’t anything good about it. At check in we were given the keys and told to go up to our rooms, only to walk into people in the room we were assigned partaking in adult activities. Nothing was done by staff to apologize for giving us a room that was clearly booked for someone else.
This property is also not wheelchair friendly. It is wrong they claim to be. There is no ramp to get into the property, a wheelchair or mobility scooter will not fit in the elevator, and there is not enough room in the rooms to get from the bed to the bathroom.
The front desk attendant in the afternoon/evenings needs to do better with his customer service. Zero help was offered when we had to bring in the mobility scooters, he made it his job to make it difficult for us to charge the scooters, and did nothing but blush and give us a new room when I walked into what I was told was my room that was being activity used. This was very upsetting as I lost all sense of safety.

A comfortable stay and OK for an overnight stop. Area around hotel is very noisy during silent hours. Rooms very clean, basic, with good supply of mini bar and bathroom amenities. Did not take €21 breakfast so cannot comment

Great Location.
Nowhere to Park.

The hotel was clean. Well located in a quiet area, but near to attractions. The Breakfast was also very nice.
5.0
The hotel is in a great location, steps away from the Hofbrau House and other attractions in the city core. I would highly recommend including the breakfast add-on, there is lots to choose from and you'd be hard pressed to find better alternative options nearby. The staff were great, they have people at the front desk 24 hours a day (nearby boutique hotels do not!) and when a jet lagged me wandered down to the lobby looking for a coffee at 5:00am they were more than happy to accomodate me. We could not be happier with our choice to stay at this hotel.
