Great resort.

It was dirty and cheap. Room service brought plastic forks and knives. No drinks unflavored food. I would not return.
Service staff was friendly, but could not make up for amenities. We called for an engineer to check the air-conditioning. They never showed. We left one day early.

During the night the hotel was too dark to walk to the lobby or whatever we were going, not much lights on the property. We had trouble find towels in the pool and in the beach EVERY DAY! The golf cards took forever to pick us up, it was never less than 20 minutes and sometimes we would just gave up and leave. The restaurant Ipanema is not a 5 star hotel restaurant at all, we waited 1 hours to eat, we didn’t have good experience even talking to the manager. None of the salts in the restaurant was working. The AC for the toro was broken last night and we were sweating at the table, couldn’t make it for desert because it was too hot and coffee for breakfast should be one bottle by table because the serves never comes back filling the mugs.

Great experience and great service for an all inclusive resort.
Two things to notice. The beach has rough seas, be extra careful if you have young children. Also, too much pressure to attend a “time share” breakfast.

Overall it was ok toilet handle was broke sliding divider between bedroom and bathroom would not stay closed . No xbox in the room fridge did not stay cool. Fold out beds were not comfortable. Spa was under construction.

The hotel was below average to average. The facilities were a bit dated. Hard to navigate such a big property. My wife was locked in a bathroom stall for 20 mins before someone came to let her out. The one night show we went to “Elvis” was a snooze. The pillows were horrible and AC smelled moldy. The food was average in the buffet restaurants but Ciao was the best for dinner. Will not visit here again and cannot recommend it for the price. It did not help that it rained half the time we were there.

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this was the only one that gave me an allergy because the sheets were very dirty, I got into bed and a giant spider came out, the sheets smelled horrible and the mattress had human urine on it, I would never go back! The only good thing was the buffet

My family and I had an amazing time at the Hard Rock! The resort is big and has plenty to do for an entire week. I highly recommend this resort and will goback again.

Fantastic experience from start till leaving. Room was lovely, with bath on the balcony. So pleased it had a train going around to pick guests up due to being a big hotel. Will definitely return.

The amenities were great. However, the air conditioners of the rooms were poor and the cleaning was average. I think these could be better. I tried to fix this and change my room couple of times however it never cool enough.

VIP was invaluable as noone was ever there so had to deal with main lobby all the time room upgrades never happened

I enjoyed the food options and drinks. They were consistent and we never felt like we had to look for anything.

I had read so many awful reviews before going that I was super scared we'd have a bad time or/and get sick, but we had a lovely vacation. We enjoyed 90% of the food, service was on par with what I got at other caribbean islands (do not experct US sevice levels and you'll be fine), room was clean and comfortable (we got one of the simplest ones). My son had a blast at the water park and the other activities were paid separately, which is a shame, but he enjoyed them anyway. Drinks were that syrupy-american cocktail style that I don't like, but I stuck to wine, which was okay, and actually had a proper, well-made Mojito at the hibachi place. I'd go back.

I loved the beach access and pool access from our room. Pool needs to be open later hours and DJ needs to play updated music.
Casino was good / poker room, but needs more poker tables with more options to play and needs high hand jackpot , there will be more players

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I went with my partner and another couple, and we stayed for five nights and had a blast! We did a new activity every night and tried all the different restaurants. the hotel had to offer. They have an on-site ice cream bar and a coffee bar that’s included, and plenty of snack options and bars placed around the resort. We could always get seats by the pool or the beach, and it was never too crowded. Love it at this resort! We wil be back again!

Properties extremely large but walkable. There are a lot of things to do with kids ages 2 and up. We had an amazing trip and would certainly visit again. Service was great. Food was ok. Not a great as cruise line restaurants. No issues with AC. The AC was cold. We were in building 8B. It was a great trip and we will be back.

Loved cleanliness, the stuff was very helpful, and everyone knew english and were very helpful,food is good too, variety of food, transportation was great, specially our butler was so informative and supportive. Giving this hotel 5 star. If i ever decide to come back to punta cana will only stay at Hard rock, we had a horrible experience in Lopesan
