So, Hotel is good, issue is really limited parking unless you pay for Valet. They had a booked party so no Roof top bar, restaurant was closed, Smokey & load in main lobby & very load people all night long! Don’t know why they charge a resort fee either? Nothing available to use, I believe there should’ve been a discount for this! Many other places to stay with quite sleeping after 10 pm.

Very basic decor and nothing fancy about this hotel. Keep in mind that sound carries with concrete floors and walls, and little furniture doesn’t help absorb noise. I swear every bed creeks because there was a lot of banging throughout the night. I’d stay here again for convenience because it’s close by some clubs but not somewhere I’d stay for comfort and a quiet night sleep.

Loved the view at this hotel! Just outside of the downtown area so location was great. It was raining during my visit so couldn't take advantage of the amazing rooftop patio but still got great views from the inside! Would stay again!

Great vibe, great restaurant and bar, easy parking, very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable. Concrete flooring in the room and bathroom. Very clean hotel. Refrigerator with freezer in the room. Microwave in the lobby. Coffee is available daily.

Good stay. Only negative was the concrete floors and ceiling made for disturbing sounds from neighbors moving chairs! Loud and thin walls. Very accommodating, great pool, wonderful service at the restaurant bar from Kristen! Will stay again if they put pads in the chair feet and disallow pets in the rooms 😂

The lobby was beautiful, and the room was spacious. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, and you had to get all the way in the shower to turn in on, so you got drenched with cold water. Parking wasn’t covered, which wasn’t a big deal until the Friday night we were there. There was a big event in the neighborhood, and all hotel parking went to guests of the event, so we had to valet. They comped us for that, but it wasn’t the most convenient.

… beautiful boutique hotel, we loved staying here!! So many great details throughout the hotel! Cozy places to sit and read in the lobby, have a drink or eat!! The room was clean, great beds, shower, retro fridge was the cutest!! Checked in and got a free drink that was delicious and refreshing! The rooftop bar was amazing and just beautiful! Staff is super helpful and positive. Fun vibe. This was a work trip for my team. We stayed on a Wed night and did not realize there was a rooftop pool
Party till 2am. I was afraid of the party noise because we all had to be wheels up at 7am for meetings. The noise level was NOT an issue at all! We had drinks in the pool roof bar before heading out to dinner and it was an amazing view. The Canvas suburban drove us to our dinner reservation and also picked us up! Great service. The only thing I will say is when we stepped out of our room at 7am the whole hallway was littered with room service trays on the floor and food everywhere. Made it hard to wheel our luggage and smashing food onto the carpet. Otherwise, we will be back for Q4 business meetings and we’ll stay here again.

The property is in a great location for attending a concert at the South Side Ballroom, or Gilley’s. The property itself was clean, fabulously decorated, and staff/valet were amazing, although there was little sound proofing to the parties that carried on until 1/2 am, we were playing “Name that tune” through the walls. Once the party was done, the pipes seemed to be uninsulated, and sounded like the toilet/shower was running the remaining of the night. Not the best sleep at a hotel sound wise. Otherwise a return visit would be on the list.

We were in a state of shock as the area around the Hotel was extremely unsafe , we planned on staying 2 nights but left immediately. We would never recommend this property to anyone . All directions around the Hotel are unsafe and we feel terrible there weren’t any reviews that would have warned us.
The Hotel informed us that there was a pool party and several guests who were not staying at the property were arriving and on their way to the pool . This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Hotel and would never go back or recommend.

Second stay at this funky-cool hotel. Front desk staff is always friendly. Hotel smells heavenly. Coffee shop, art studios, and convenience store across the street. Beautiful rooftop pool. Comfortable beds. Like another guest remarked, don't be intimidated by the young & sexy crowd. It's an enjoyable stay even if you're not a part of that scene. The en suite bathrooms aren't the most private (sliding door, no exhaust fan, glass cutout in shower that looks onto bed area) so might be uncomfortable to share with non family. Parking can be a little difficult during weekend party time. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I consider it a value for all you get.

Don’t get me wrong the inside of the hotel is very modern but I paid big bucks to stay for one night. The hotel had little to no parking, the majority of parking is valet and cost extra, there was no microwave in the room nor any kind of “complementary” breakfast (for the price I expected something more), and when I showed up I had to pay another deposit to get my keys. Nowhere online did it say I’d have to pay a deposit just a resort fee. What also sucked was that the deposit take's 3-5 business days to get returned to me. If you ask me you’re better off staying somewhere cheaper.

The property itself was interesting and eclectic. It was nice and clean. The only problem was the pool area was geared more towards adults. We took our kid on this stay and did not feel comfortable goingt to the pool with him. It was more of a party vibe. At night the music was very load at the bar/pool area. The view was great!

All I can say is, this was the most welcoming and relaxing place. I enjoyed everyone’s kindness and the room was super cute. The vibe was definitely there! Will come again for sure!

Canvas killed it on a stay-casion. Excellent atmosphere. Dont be intimidated by the weekend scene. Guests were priority and the 12pm checkout was refreshing.

This property was not what it seemed from the advertisements. This is a party hotel which allowed non-hotel guests to come in and overtake the pool. The pool party played extremely vulgar music and the guests that were there were virtually naked in their swimwear. The rooms look far nicer online than the reality. Our entire group would highly suggest staying anywhere but this hotel.
